That's a lie because I read a few days before that permission wasn't given.
Mercouris mentioned the American polls because when the Russian polls show that the Russian people want Vladimir Putin, they are rejected by the US and EU.

Let me ask you something. Do you really believe that Soros and the American 'deep state' wants the best for Russia? If you do then you're dreaming. Soros believes in a one world government under corporate control, so that the ones who own the corporations will control the world. You're asking for your own poverty and serfdom.

Navalny is an American agent that was trained at Yale to create anarchy in Russia for a regime change. Maurice R. Greenberg who helped train him is a crook, and he got out of jail because Kissinger intervened. It's an old trick for crooks to accuse others like Medvedev of being crooks so they could gain power and steal more.

So tell me, do you think a crook is the best person to talk about corruption? Read what I posted about Greenberg, and how the company had to pay one and a half billion fine because of his criminality, while Greenberg got off free because of Kissinger.

In 2005, Mr Greenberg was forced to leave his position at AIG as a result of an investigation by the New York City prosecutor's office, which had revealed accounting fraud. The CFR came to Greenberg’s defence, as well as Mr Henry Kissinger himself. Greenberg was able to avoid a jail term while AIG paid $1.64 billion in fines.

Insults to my nation are insults to me as well. I did not insulted any nation there, unlike you. I only insult precise individuals, and don't base my opinion about whole nation on them.

I don't know if this is true, but I read that Navalny promised the protesters who are arrested in Russia will be awarded $10,000 from the world court? Yeah right! What Putin should do is stick Navalny in jail for committing subversive actions as a foreign agent. I'm sure he can find something on him.

Russia might be the big fish the corporate globalists and one world order freaks want to destroy and take over, but to do that they're attacking the smaller nations that lean towards Russia ...like Syria and Ukraine. The latest trouble spot is the Balkans... and especially Macedonia.

In order to hurt Russia they want to stop the gas pipe line going into Europe. Soros has 40 organizations in Macedonia and the people are screaming for Soros to get out before the country breaks up. He's even being investigated by the US congress because of it.

First of all, if Navaly is foreign agent sent to seed anarchy and overthrow government - he is doing awful job. So far he managed to bring attention to corruption in that government, have a pretty fair competition for being mayor of capital, and actually more united people, than divided them.

Second - our government is full of crooks already, and even he is as bad as worst of them, we basically not loosing anything from his presence. The acts of corruption, that he exposes - are there, they are real, and we been displeased with them for years. He just organized the people to express that displeasement.

Third - the rally yesterday was peaceful, and was not demanding any sort of governemnt's overthrow. This is why it was supported by so many people. We passed the age of revolutions, and coup that happened in Ukraine objectively demonstrates, that break of government does not ends well. Evolution - is only choise for our country today, not a revolution.

Fourth - speaking of revolutions - Vladimir Lenin too has been a foreign agent, supported heavily by the Austo-Hungary and Germany. Revolution that he worked on has happened without him, on people's terms, and year later engulfed his own sponsors - bringing democracy to Germany and liberty to subjects of Austrian crown. While our country still there - still united, as a federation, a democracy - that desires changes.

Putin have grew old. His duties done, his achievements written in history, his third term in the office only left a shameful stain on his career. Medvedev has lost credibility, and lots of our ministers and deputates of Duma have became too distant from the people, and too spoiled by the priviliges that came with their ranks. Our country does not wishes to 'overthrow' the government - we simply came to point, where we take a new step forward. Some people are reluctant to do so, some people are afraid - there always danger in a change. But stagnation is - certain death. Water can never flow under a laying rock, and in the most antient of our legends, sooner or later, people always had to stand up - to take the risks - and take a step in the fate. In fight, or in the crowning rule - in epic and heroic acts - or even in love. Reluctance never been a good for us, our patience always must be only a virtue, our whole history is full of moments where our progress was stopping out of content - and eading to need of us to strive ahead with double effort. Time came - time to stand up, to move forward, to break lies and fear, to right the wrongs and bring peace and prosperity to continent. We are choosing this - not because of Navalny, but because of Russia. Because of our land. Because of who we are.

Lenin and his Bolsheviks killed 20 million Russians. The first thing the Bolsheviks did was eliminate the freedom of the press which they had under the Tsar. Lenin also lied to the people and told them that they would be given land ...which they weren't.

In the meantime Tsar Nicholas II had the papers all prepared so he could hand out his own lands to the Serfs, but the war broke out so he had to wait until it ended... The Bolsheviks knew they had to work fast before the war ended and the Tsar could pass the reforms. They manipulated Russia's free press with lies and propaganda, and were able to get financial support from bankers in New York and London.

One of the first things the Bolsheviks did was spread rumors that the Tsar wanted to break up the estates of the nobility. This way they were able to get the nobility to turn against him ...and it was a lie. When the Bolsheviks finally took over they did what all ideologues do, they robbed the country for their own pockets. The same happened with the ones sent in by Washington later on in the 90's. The Bolsheviks gave the Russian people nothing... nor did Washington under Yeltsin. Both times the people were going hungry.

As for the social services under the Soviet Union, most of them came from Tsar Nicholas II probably with the help of Stolypin. .. who they assassinated of course with 500 others every year. The Soviets continued what Tsar Nicholas II founded. One of his achievements was the world court at the Hague ...which was the precursor to the UN. He was quite brilliant and innovative for that day and age.

By the way, I find your English so much better in the above quote, than in other posts ...almost as if it's a different person. :confusion:

I would not like to see Navalnui as a president, neither Putin. Quite funny, official channels in Russia do not show what was going on yesterday. They talk about Siria (which I do not care), Ukraine, weather in Nigeria but not about the huge meetings against corruption. People are really fed up with corruption in Russia and if Putin will not make right conclusions from the yesterday's events- for sure there would be finally a revolution and civil war in Russia.

First of all, want to explain that - English is not my native language, so qality of text highly depends on how concentrated I am on making the post. Some words click for me, sometimes I get stuck and have to check dictionaries, albeit rarely. Also, obviously it depends on how much I try to make post readable. Obviously, when I throw an annoyed responce on top of yet another portion of russophobic yapping on that forum - I do not try very hard, I just.. For the most part I just try not to snap and pour on person all the riches of my language's swearing treasury - one of rare cases when myth about russians is true - we have lots, lots of ways to insult a person.

Now, about Lenin - this is why revolution happened without him, and why he had to stage a coup after... And I suspect - this is why we now use him like a tourist attraction, de facto lying in vicinity of a McDonalds. Again, we learn on the mistakes of the past and very carefull, when deal with state and government. Problem being - the majority of member of our current government started abusing the patience of people, as well as their privileges - and as result got the unrest, that begun yesterday. Being that because they don't want to, or simply can't - is not very important, when they keep pretending that everything fine, unemployment falls, wages rise and country's economy moves forward.

Similar with Nicolas - if he would've been more open to people - maybe he would've remained on the throne. Again - he was not the only person in government, country went through, actually, pretty much same problems as any other at the time - abuse of workers by capitalists, the giant gap in incomes among population, not enough publically available education and healthcare. We may never know, if that would've changer - or if he would've wiped sweat from forehead, exhaled and we continued to live the same for ten, twenty, fifty more years, untill got some sort of ours Luter King to fight for civil equality.

Speaking of equality, you forget that racial and gender equality was pretty much a norm from practically a start of the soviet era. Yes, there been anti-jewish moods - as everywhere. There been repressions - Stalin was making no difference between repressed, as long as it held him in control of state - but aside from that - we learned to live together, to peacefully coexist - and as result we have the multinational federation that I live in. There sure some anecdotes, stereotypes, xeophobes and nationalists - as everywhere. Some - not a majority of people. And soviet epoch left an imprint on our psycology, it's nearly impossible to imagine not having the free healthfacre, and especially - free education for children.

Still, it is nice to see somebody actually being worried about my country, and not just gloating over everything we go through.

Do not beleive in the official data about the number of the protesters. Double the number easily. If you add tens of thousands of people in other cities you will easily end up in more than 100000 people. And this is a lot. Kremlin can not ignore the opinion of so many people. And of course, many are just lazy and does not go to the demonstrations, but don not like the power in Russia. And this is nonsense to beleive that so many people went to the streets because they were promised money- this is just Kremlin propaganda.

In the meantime, Navalny gave interwiev from the court, making few statements - encouraging participants of rally, saying that if nothing changes - rallies will continue, and stating he still going to be trying to run for president.

Both cases against him - organisation of illegal gathering, and resisting arrest - ened today, with results of 20000 rubles fine and 15 days of arrest.

His lawyer states materials of cases been manipulated and plans to object these decidions of court.

So far - everything more or less civil.

I have not been following this closely, however when I read about it yesterday they said the protests were about Medvedev also re him giving his duck a house... when so many are homeless in Russia. Which reminded me of the French revolution quote (the one Marie Antionette probably never really said) "let them eat cake"

What I found particularly interesting though is that Putin decided to "no comment" re Medvedev... or has he?

I think the stink of Medvedev's extreme lavish spending damage Putins image terribly.

Mr. Kozlov highly criticised lack of enthusiasm of policemen in subjugating participants of rally in Moscow in 26th of March, called them 'unerbed heroes' and a 'bitty gang'. Highly been criticised unreadiness of police to subjugate rally, many regiments arrived with delay or unequipped - lacking the rubber clubs, for example. Also been criticised the attitude, said many policemen had been 'playing on the phones' or even eating snacks. (Personally I recall seeing fer policemen talking to members of rally, one even flirting with a rally participant - but mainly I recall them being nervous and silent, and being reluctant to communicate with the rally.) The detainment centers, turns out, were unable to hold the number of detained - which concluded in many detained citizens being released, also many of those members of police who had been physically assaulted by participants of rally did not reported the assaults at first, mainly arguing that it'll be impossible to find assaulters anyway. MG Kozlov claimed that police regiments will be properly equipped and that their professionalism will be checked by inspections.

The number of detained in Moscow rally on 26 of March, referring to this source, is above 500.

I hope, that police will be even more reluctant in the future - as well as we will be avoiding violence during rallies.

    ...a-a-and there we go!

Media agency 'Novaya Gazeta' ('New Newspaper') started it's own investigation of the potential corruption activities of charity funds "Dar", "Gradislava", "Socgosproject", Fund of support of winter olympic sports, Fund of social-culture initiatives.
    https://www.novayagazeta.ru/articles/2017/03/29/71946-kafka-fond

For the first time Vladimir Putin made a comment about the rallies, comparing them to 'Arab spring' and Euromaidan, suspecting the nature of rallies being purely political, and saying these events only bringed chaos and dissaray.

Media agency 'Sobesednic' started their own investigation of prime minister's land property near village Ples, revealing the rent payments being incredibly low, and land being used as hunting grounds.

Leader of political party "Just Russia" criticized the prime minister's silent responce at corruption accusations and demanded launching a formal investigation of corruption claims. Also he said that Navalny's investigation revealed nothing new.

Russia is not going through anything, it is fighting an evil force that has been in the making for the past decades by certain 'elites', (Soros is only one of them), and Vladimir Putin has been in the forefront of a new more practical ideology which respects the civilizational differences between people and their respective cultures.

Being watchful for government's flaws and rooting them out is our responsibility, Jeann. And there are flaws.

And our state does goes through - the inner conflicts, the corruption of governmental administration, and the hostile geopolitical climate, economic sanctions and crisis. Things, that are not making life easier.

I read that the next protests will be against Vladimir Putin and is being bankrolled and pushed by Khodorovsky. This is the same criminal who was given money by foreign banks to buy up Russia's oil wealth when the Russians were forced to sell their shares at a low price. Khodorovsky is also wanted in a murder case of a mayor who tried to collect taxes from his company.

Khodorovsky, like all the other crooks that Putin kicked out, wanted to make sure that not a penny of Russia's wealth would ever go to the Russian people so he never paid taxes. This is why Putin only asked for two things from the oligarchs when he became president. One was that they would pay all their taxes so the Russian people could benefit, and the other was that they would never enter politics. In other words, 'no criminals in Kremlin'.

So let's take a good look at those behind the protests against corruption. There is Navalny who was under the tutelage of a mega criminal whose company he worked for had to pay billions because of his extortions, and there is Khodorvosky who was making billions with the largest oil company in Russia, and who could care less that the Russian people were going hungry.

The mayor who tried to collect taxes from Khodorovsky was murdered and he is wanted in Russia for questioning ... and yet true to form, Khodorovsky who lives in Switzerland is bankrolling an NGO in Russia so as to feed people propaganda. He has even formed his own political party there.

This is reminiscent of Ukraine and how the criminal mafia there worked with the criminals in the Obama administration as well as the Nazis to kick Yanukovich out and take over. So while over 60% of the Ukrainians are living below the poverty level, Poroshenko doubled his profits in the last years. This doesn't include the billions stolen by him and the other mafia families from the IMF loans...

Frankly I wouldn't believe a word that is being said about Medvedev or anyone... since I know the criminality of those involved, and how they demonize others through lies and spins. The one thing criminals know is that the best way to distract from their own crimes, is by accusing others. The last protest was against Medvedev, the next will be against Putin.

No doubt they are doing this so they can tear the Russian Federation apart the way the CIA tried to do when they were helping the terrorists in Chechnya. If they can create enough chaos to break Russia up, the wealth can be taken over by the multinational corporations for their one world government. Guys, this is a world event, so sit back and enjoy your coming serfdom.

And here comes a responce to responce. Disgusting timing, and obviously a pre-made video, that seems to would've been uploaded regardless of what Medvedev would've said about demands of investigation.

You have no idea what the US and the EU going through. We have a government that survived for almost 250 years and the globalists with their control of the media are ready to throw us into a civil war. People voted for Trump to bring back the jobs that the globalists shipped off to other countries, and to stop the stupidities of open borders when almost half of the American people are out of work.

Besides that, Soros and his war mongering globalist freaks in Washington want Europe to have a war with Russia that's why they keep demonizing Putin. If they destroy one another they can go and buy up everything. Money is their god. Right now Soros and the 140 organizations he supports have been paying protesters to go against everything that Trump is trying to do for his country.

The lying media with its fake news is the biggest problem... but Trump is fighting them, and in the end he will win the way Vladimir Putin did in Russia. As for the EU, they are in a bigger mess than the US. I doubt if they will survive for more than a year what with the globalist Merkel at the helm. Besides hurting the poorer nations with the sanctions on Russia, and with the millions of migrants she brought in because of liberal globalism, she is destroying the EU by have the bigger countries like Germany prosper at the expense of the other countries. Nazism anyone?

Russia is smart in getting away from the US dollar and turning to gold like China. That way when the economic depression hits, they will be able to survive. I think Trump realizes that we're in an economic mess, and is doing everything in his power to create jobs and rebuild industries before it does. In the meantime Soros' organizations are paying people to protest all over the country with the hope of throwing us into a civil war. That way he can get the regime change he wants so his globalist freaks can be in power again.

And you think Russia has problems? Ha!

Do not be laughing - as classic said, "it would've been so funny, if it was not so sad".

Not everything is about your globalists. Our government got corrupted - spoiled - and needs to be corrected, fixed, repaired. They too often refer to themselves as 'Power', they grew too distanced from the people, People, even - there should be no 'them' and 'us', there should only be WE. Government must be part of the nation, stand for nation's interests, and not for interests of corporations, politicians, foreigners, banks and the virtual 'state'. You say that Soros prays to money? He has same god as politicians from RF. They keep money in foreign banks, send children learn abroad, go on foreign resorts for vacations and after loose their place in the government - where do they go? Where went Berezevsky, where went Luzhkov?

I am not going to let my country fire with another revolutuion, with my land become a bounty of yet another bunch of criminals, I am not going to silently let my country crack. It is hard to be objective and sober when it comes to politics, especially when we are pressed from outside by foreigners and pressed inside by own tensions - but if we sit silent, untill we crumble into dust, leaving to next generation to sovle the problems we are witnessing - we will be not worth being called Russians. This is our home - our responsibility - our land, our inheritance and heritage - it is to be passed to our descendants better, than we received it. It is to grow richer - not dry out in poverty - it is to march in front of the rest of the world - it is to be better, prosperous, greater. Greater than Union, than Empire, than Tscardom, than land of Rus, than the wild and unconquered land that we came out and settled on. We went through enormous turmoils during our history not to fall apart under pressure from outside, but that takes effort. And if government of today not taking it - we will take this effort ourselves.

Our society must strive forward, proud of acomplishments, not ashamed of failures, not discraced by acts of corruption, and the only reson for government existing - is to make country organized, and peaceful - for people to be able to move forward. It must not be a parasite. Do you understand? They must be on our side, work for our interests - they must be us. Ours. It must be OUR government, not the government we have, and never - ever it should be referred to as 'Power'.

It is very hard to explain to somebody, who does not lives in Russian Federation. Maybe, I should - if you wish - give more wide explanation, with examples and facts. It is just really hard to systemise and refine all the common knowledge of average citizen into a rational form, understandable by foreigner. I guess even referring to government as "power" is a barely understandable, without a proper explanation...

Be careful with your idealism, because you have outside forces which train people on how to lie and spin in order to destroy Russia so it can be bought up by the multi national corporations. You see all the hatred towards Russia by some posters? Well the media's brainwashing did that.

As an example of how they work, when Greece first fell into debt and the people didn't want another loan because they felt it was not sustainable, Washington invited the reporters of the top TV channels to a seminar. They were taught how to spin things and deceive the people into thinking that the next loan was sustainable... when it was not.

Today Greece's debt will take about 60 years to pay off unless they start selling their islands and all their mineral wealth. So do not think that all this demonizing of Medvedev is not part of the plan to break up Russia and sell it off.

He is not demonised, he is questioned.
As I said, my previous posts were too passionate and not informative anough,
Jeann, my land had 'outside forces' since the beginning of time, we KNOW there are forces outside, and it is normal that hey want our throats, it's how politics work. That does not excuses ineffective work of government. People need security and prosperity, as a basic condition of life.

This several imbeciles went to the "protest" for the reward. Organized this "protest", twice convicted thief-recidivist (The first time he was convicted of stealing timber from a commercial firm. The second time he was convicted of theft at the post office). Do you need other explanations about these "protests"?

By the way. This thief promised protesters a reward of 10,000 euros. But as expected - he Deceived. Only imbecile could believe this thief.
(You can write in YouTube "10000 евро за протест" (10,000 euros for the protest) And see the video of these imbeciles.)

It was not a protest, but a rally.
There was no reward promissed, there was promise of assistance in case of illegal detention and help in delivering case to international court of justice.
Rally itself was not of political nature, and sent government a pretty clear, sincere message - that people are concerned about potential corruption in the government.
You can mention names, Navalny organized the rally. Yes, he has been accused of violating article 160.4 of Penal Code of Russian Federation, decidion of court has been applied once, and Navalny tries to apply the second decidion too.

If you bring things in, try bringing sources too. Sadly, I cannot present the source of my statements about the rally of 26 of March, since in current situation I am the source myself, being one of this rally's participants.
Again, I am asking you to not being too critical towards people's asctions, they did what they considered being the best, and did it in a pretty much organized and peaceful manner, with no tragic casualties - unlike in some of neigbouring countries. Rally was not aimed against governemnt, it's goal was to express public concern, and it did exactly that.
