    This is not looking good as far as a prognosis.

    There has been speculation that her recent broken bones and lung nodules were actually tumor metastasis.

    "She's still alive. Look, she is waving. Wires? What wires? Don't worry about the smell. She always smells like that".

    I normally do not jest about people with cancer, and I do wish RBG well. However, the political ramifications are immense. If it was not for the fact that Republicans hold the Senate and the Presidency, I would suspect that she would have retired. I suspect she has not, strictly for political reasons.

    It was only last summer that we saw the Kavanaugh debacle.

    RGB's replacement will make that seem like a cake walk.

    Some of the posters here are absolute filth.

    If she does have pancreatic cancer, she is going to go through something that I could not wish on another human being — or their family — no matter how much I disagreed with their political beliefs. This woman has sacrificed more for her country than most people can even imagine and continues to do so.

    After seeing how dementia seems to take hold in old people after trauma or cancer, I'd be looking for that real possibility to begin taking hold.
    Her body seems to be about shot. It's only a matter of time before her mind goes.

    Indeed. Also concerning is that this is a recurrence of a past pancreatic cancer, and the fact that they placed a bile stint (possible liver spread), and that they didn't operate-which is the preferred method to address this.

    She may also be too brittle for actual surgery as well.
