I just don't see the level of force you imply. Her hand didn't even leave the mic immediately. I am in complete agreement with you that Acosta deserves a timeout for his actions, which were unprofessional, as was the question he asked the President which was why Trump moved on.

If Acosta wanted a real answer, he should have asked a real question. "Why are you pitting Americans against each other?" is not a worthy question in a press briefing environment. It is an accusation, as though it is an established fact that the President is actively trying to divide Americans.

He should have said something like, "There are those who think you are trying to divide Americans. How do you respond to that?"

The original video was converted into an animated gif, which naturally runs at a different frame rate from the video in its original format. In short, the video wasn't doctored, you will get the same results converting just about any video into a gif. A gif runs at a lower frustrate from most videos, which can result in the appearance of quicker motions from the recorded clip.

Well you say "they" but really this only concerns Sanders' Twitter. However, I agree that it was a poor source for her to use. She may want to explain why she used it, because right now, she appears to be a keen follower of Info Wars.

She was probably using the gif format for the same reasons anyone else would use the gif format. They are an easier and more accessible format to embed, especially for shorter clips.

the vid was supposedly sped up which doesn't make a dam doesn't matter what speed you run it at it clearly shows he put his hands on that female staffer and used force to keep her from retrieving the mic doing her job
