I said that Russia attempted to interfere and that is enough of a crime in my book to condemn them fierever.

Good grief, I absolutely agree that there's a ton more people out there that should be discussed and are of far more importance than Hilla. I have no idea why you think I believe otherwise. But Holy Moly, she keeps talking about herself over and over and over and over and over. Even Democrats are complaining about it, as I linked a few posts back. Like the Kardashians, she simply Won't. Go. Away. And now the top Dem in the Senate is discussing her. Blame Hilla herself for keeping the spotlight on herself as long as her cellulite holds out. Hillary and the Democrats (except Mr. Schumer) insist she would have won had Trump not colluded with the Russians who meddled with the elections. Democrats have led the effort to investigate Trump's collusion with the Russians, there are several investigations now underway, they are expanding to include more people and go back earlier to long before Trump even announced interest in a candidacy. So far no smoking gun, but there's time, Trump's been in office just 6 months.

 

And even if all their daily hysteria-driven tumbling routines reach fruition, the allegations are that Trump colluded with the Russians to expose Dem corruption.

Seems to me these accusations of meddling and collusion are overblown, we've seen nothing to show Russian agents were able to manipulate votes, nobody is claiming results were altered, that ballots got changed or anything like this. Somewhere I saw a note that claimed there was evidence they attempted (unsuccessfully) to hack into different State electronic voting systems.

Russians may have influenced the election promoting certain media coverage or making statements either critical of Hillary or praising Trump, but this doesn't seem that wrong, governments do sometimes express support for a candidate in foreign elections. One would need to go back and review media coverage by, on or from Russia during the campaign to see if there are points where Trump gets a boost thanks to some deceptive story -and then show this was aimed at improving his chances.

The core argument from the critical left is that Trump arranged with Putin so the latter's agents would publish emails they'd hacked that were quite detrimental to Hillary, and that this cost her the election. To convince me I want much more tangible proof that actual Russian government employees, using Russian equipment, technology and software, instructed to do so by Russian government authorities pursuing a concerted effort to favor Trump, actually obtained Hillary, Podesta and the DNC emails to then release them to Wikileaks -and that all of this took place in exchange for a specific promise from Trump or anyone acting on his behalf.

 

It says more about our press, it was their job to expose the DNC and Hillary shenanigans..


Yet they let the DNC and Hillary slide and Russia had to step up to the bat , to inform Americans the truth
