Then why is poverty so rampant in the USA? Especially child poverty.

Isn’t the buts in deep red what is known as “the Bible Belt”?

    Not wrong.

That way ends with Progressive policies, just as it did in the Great Depression.

It’s why planned parenthood has always set up most of its clinics in close proximity to neighborhoods with lots of people of color in them.

Plan B is quintessentially an abortifacient. It's a substance that one ingests to terminate a pregnancy. The fact that not every fertalized egg implants through a natural process doesn't change that fact.

Contraception prevents fertilization, in the first place, so no other life is created.

No it is NOT an abortifacient because it PREVENTS implantation ergo prevents pregnancy and by your own admission abortifacients terminate pregnancies

But think on this - just a bit of education here

    upload_2022-5-13_10-42-39.jpeg

Now a I will say the actual research supporting these is pretty scetchy but a lot of it is far stronger than the link between methamphetamine use and miscarriage

So, if you hop on the abortifacient bandwagon - where will you stop? Are you going to charge every woman who has a miscarriage with murder just so you can be assured they did not sneak some extra pineapple in at dinner? Since most miscarriages happen very early in the pregnancy - had you not better ban women from ingesting any of these foods in the first place?

Because they are providing a free or at least subsidised service to PLAN parenthood - you know by doing things like Implanon injections and IUDs that actually effectively work to prevent unwanted pregnancies

~ Yellen is another idiot political hack — all part of the Biden team of destruction . :bleh:

Sen. Tim Scott would be an excellent candidate for U.S. president .

Reading it and believing it are two different things. Statistics are easy to fudge especially on an annual report. Even the leftist Washington Post see through PP's lies.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...3-percent-and-94-percent-are-both-misleading/
    Planned Parenthood abortion stats

Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services.”

–Planned Parenthood, fact sheet on Web site

“In 2013, abortions made up 94% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy services.”

–Susan B. Anthony List, fact sheet on Web site

Three percent or 94 percent? Are abortions just a small portion of the array of Planned Parenthood’s services, as advocates of abortion rights say? Or is Planned Parenthood mainly an abortion provider that masquerades as a reproductive health organization, as opponents of abortion rights say?

    And even Slate

    https://slate.com/human-interest/20...e-abortion-but-what-about-their-revenues.html
The Most Meaningless Abortion Statistic Ever

"If you measure by how much revenue it brings in, abortion is a huge part of what Planned Parenthood does.

It’s impossible to know how much money Planned Parenthood brings in for abortion. Because as specific as the annual report is about the number of services it provides, it’s far less detailed when talking about where its revenue comes from (They are within their rights, so whatever). But it’s easy to calculate, as the Weekly Standard did, that Planned Parenthood gets at least a third of its clinic income—and more than 10 percent of all its revenue, government funding included—from its abortion procedures.

Ask anyone who runs a for-profit business or nonprofit charity if something that brings in one-third of their revenue is “central” to their endeavor, and the answer is likely to be yes. So yes, abortion is central to what Planned Parenthood does. There ARE a few things that aren’t central to their purpose though. As compared with the nearly 334,000 abortions that Planned Parenthood provided in 2011, 28,674 women received prenatal services. And 2,300 were referred to adoption agencies."

By this logic, drowning your children in a bathtub would also "curb" poverty.

Or an ex-husband offing his wife because he doesn't want to make alimony payments.

You realize she can adopt, right?

This sounds more like exploitation against women. Forced into doing something they shouldn't have to do, due to economics and life circumstances.

It would be like telling a starving mother that she could eat her baby.

So the Dems and the pro-abortion have moved from abortion should be safe but rate to it's our latest economic plan to reduce poverty.

I think it was an original founding principle of Planned Parenthood and apparent still flourishes amongst the pro-abortion side. Sorta like Iceland which claimed it had ended Downs Syndrome in the country, of course reading the fine print they did so by killing all unborn Down's Syndrome babies before they are born.

ICELAND CLOSE TO BECOMING FIRST COUNTRY WHERE NO DOWN'S SYNDROME CHILDREN ARE BORN
On average, just one or two children with Down's syndrome are born in Iceland each year

Pre-natal tests were introduced in the early 2000s, and the vast majority who receive a positive test have terminated their pregnancy.

While the tests are optional, all expectant mothers are informed about their availability, and up to 85 per cent choose to take it...

...."Babies with Down's syndrome are still being born in Iceland," said Hulda Hjartardottir, head of the Prenatal Diagnosis Unit at Landspitali University Hospital, told CBS.

"Some of them were low risk in our screening test, so we didn't find them in our screening.”...
    https://www.independent.co.uk/life-...n-first-country-world-screening-a7895996.html

Oh the ones that do make just weren't found so they could be killed........................how sick our societies are becoming.

Personally I would believe wapo over some blog

Try using some logic. Why would a funded group like PP do a more expensive intervention when a cheaper one is available?

You realise that is not always an option. It is not as if there are huge numbers of people wanting to adopt babies of colour. There is no guarantee that those babies will not end up “in the system” and many black women know this. Besides she has now spent nine months with that baby - it is not so easy to walk away

if this were YOUR child would you be happy if the woman were to give it up for adoption?

Or like Ireland claiming it had a zero maternal mortality rate despite a horrifically restrictive anti abortion legislation?

    Did I say that?
This is nothing new some of the links I found were decades old. Women are three times less likely to find employment post birth. Of course that could be addressed in other ways such as paid maternity leave free child care, increased child welfare benefits……..

Where is the Republican plan to address the poverty cycle?

Don't forget to add in that that particular ilk is constantly claiming that "race doesn't matter" but it comes up right on schedule when it has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

Nobody can convince them to be concerned about others by wearing masks and socially distancing or possible a civil conversation about gun violence in the US but they are all up in women's wombs. Just saying'

I agree completely. I’d vote for him anytime as our
