And now it is known the claim within the link is factually incorrect. Stop relying on false, outdated, disproven information.

Then they should not have attempted to enter in the united states, when this fact is apparently known. The father had to know his daughter was going to be seen by unskilled, uncaring personnel.

I was in-country when Uncle Ho died in 1969.

The war went on for six more years after Ho Chi Minh's death.

Revisionist BS. Nixon gave up after dragging out the war for domestic political reasons. The deal was a fig leaf.

Last time I checked, I sourced to you the US government is responsible for providing healthcare for who they take into custody. And you childishly disputed that it was so, with nothing to back it up.

The original Paris peace talks of 68 were phoney as we found out in 69/70.

Please President Nixon...pull that battleship USS New Jersey out of the Pacific Ocean and we'll talk about peace and ending the war.

    It was all a lie.

After North Vietnam and VC defeat during the Tet Offensive of 68, Gen Giep is on record saying that the American soldier can not be defeated on the battlefield.

A new strategy came into play, the "useful idiots" of the Kremlin in America would win the war for North Vietnam.

And if such is truly the case, and not a simple misinterpretation on the part of yourself, the united states government is failing to fulfill that responsibility in what qualifies as an acceptable manner. These facts, these indisputable facts, should have been known by the father, and anyone else attempting to illegally enter the united states. They have no legitimate excuse for being unaware of what they are going to be walking into. It was the parents who made the conscious decision to haul their ill child through harsh conditions while she was apparently too sick to make the journey. It is their fault she is dead, and they should be faced with criminal penalties for doing such.

The Border Patrol's failure is that the four agents, at the remote location, didn't provide complete physical examinations for the 163 border crashers.

Of course, this is because Trump is a RACIST!.

Is the CBP required to give "complete" medical examinations? I seriously doubt all stations have the equipment available for such examinations. This poor girl suffered from brain swelling and liver failure. What could a small aid station have done for her?

The immigrants that were with Jackeline Caal and her father intended to present themselves at the Antelope Wells port of entry in New Mexico. The border crossing is one of three in New Mexico and one of the most remote in that state. The crossing is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm and is staffed by a single U.S. Customs and Border Protection employee. Antelope Wells receives the least traffic of any Mexico–United States border crossing, so little that the CBP does not report official statistics for the facility. The caravan of roughly 163 people chose to cross the remote border into New Mexico illegally.

Immigration officials said she "did not appear to be ill" when detained. A Border Patrol form completed shortly after she was stopped said she was not sweating, had no tremors or visible trauma and was mentally alert. “Claims good health,” the form reads. Jackeline’s father appeared to have signed the form, which was obtained by The Associated Press.

I take great umbrage with this statement from Border Patrol. As a nurse, I understand what effect severe dehydration resulting in a body temperature of 105.7 does to a person. If she hadn't eaten in days, she would not be vomiting either food or water since she hadn't had any, possibly she vomited liver bile. There's no way anyone is mentally alert or looking like they're in 'good healthy' when they're in liver shutdown with a body temperature of nearly 106. The Border Guard noted that she was not sweating. Of course not, that's one more symptom of critical dehydration, lack of urine, sweat, tears or mucous. This girl was at a very critical juncture that was so critical that even if she received immediate I/V hydration and other life saving emergency measures right there on the spot, she most likely wouldn't have survived. If she had survived she possibly would have been irrevocably brain damaged.

To the point. This girl died as a result of lack of nutrition and water and the blame for that is on her father. But, if those people had none to give then we can just say he made a very bad decision to push on into the hot desert unprepared to care for his child. Others in the caravan survived so perhaps they had some hydration or food with them. This still doesn't absolve the Border Patrol from culpability for their attempts at covering up the calamitous of the condition in which they found Jackeline, nor does it exculpate them for covering this death up for more than a week.

People are logical, and when people are given the truth about circumstances, they can deal with it. But, when news comes out that contradicts stories of the Border Patrol, hospital, DHS and various news sources, people begin to feel lied to and sides form which begin making up stories to justify their support of one side or the other. Yes, deaths along the border happen, but people can accept that without being lied to and stories contrived that make it appear people are hiding facts from the public.

Just days ago a toddler died after she was released from and ICE facility where she had been held for 20 days. Her death is attributed to pneumonia, she died in a hospital six weeks after her release from detention. Medical records show that she was in good health when taken into custody in Dilley, Texas. She developed a respiratory infection and although cared for by nurses and a physician assistant, she had only been seen by a doctor once during that time. She was released to the care of her mother and both flew to New Jersey where Ms. Juarez's own mother resides. No medical professional cleared the toddler for the flight. Her condition exacerbated on the flight and once they arrived in NJ the toddler was brought to a hospital where she died six weeks later. I'm not saying that illegals should not be detained until their case can be processed, I'm saying children should never be out of the care and watchful eye of their mothers.

Food and water is often left by Good Samaritans in the harshest desert communities for illegal immigrants. A man giving humanitarian aid has even been arrested by Border Patrol for his effort to save people's lives. His organization, 'No More Deaths' is an advocacy group based in Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona, United States that seeks to end the deaths of undocumented immigrants crossing the desert regions near the United States-Mexico border. Volunteers for the organization provide food, water, and medical aid to people crossing the US-Mexico border through the Arizona desert and offer humanitarian aid to people in Mexico who have been deported from the US.

We never seriously tried to win the war. The only decision for Nixon was when to throw in the towel. We sent off a lot of young men to die for nothing.
