She has dealt with the cops before

Maybe it was over drugs or prostitution or some other criminal activity

but whatever it was she is a pretty savvy jailhouse lawyer

I’m all for free speech. But commonly, and defended by courts, outright calling for the murder of anyone, or ANY kind of violence, should be investigated.

She’s an idiot. I agree with her sentiment that the pres is quite a piece of work (still laughing at he Clemson, fast food thing). But how can you be shocked when authorities knock on your door to ask questions about a call to murder the president. Only an idiot is shocked by this.

I can make the case that they were just about as frenzied during Reagan. The left just never understand it when folks try to take their toys away from them....

The line here is when is a person using free speech, and when is what their saying a "call to action" ?

We have to void ourselves of the bias' for who they are talking about, and focus on what they are saying. It is illegal to advocate for the killing of the POTUS, as it should be, BUT, the grey area is defining what is "advocating for" and what is hyperbole. And it gets even more convoluted when you add in what is meant as hyperbole to you, can be interpreted as a call to action for another.

In any case, even as much as a disagree with Trump, and think he is a complete tool. I do not advocate or support for harm to him or his family.

There is a responsibility that goes with 'freedom of speech'. And the 1st Amendment does not cover all speech.

These anti-Trumpers tend to be short on brains, long on outrage.

She did seem to be an old hand at being on the receiving end of body cavity searches and head lice checks.

She wasn't calling for the murder of anyone; she was exercising free speech. Why do so many hate the Constitution so much? :disbelief:

Only an idiot can't see how dangerous it is to attack clearly protected free speech.

Where did you get the idea that it was illegal to advocate for the murder of the US president, or that it should be?

Just another silly DUMBacrat masturbating to fantasies of Trump's assassination. What a sad, sorry bunch.

I used to agree with that. But calling for violence, “why can’t somebody...”

That’s what she said. That’s calling for murder. To put a bullet between his eyes? Come on, she’s an idiot.

You can hate the guy, call him every name in the book and I’ll probably agree, but this level of disgust for the other side is baffling to me. I hated Bush, but I knew better not to outright ask if someone could put a bullet in his head.

Reagan was afforded legitimacy. Trump has been under attack from the Left and their "Mainstream Media" since he won the election in vile ways. They don't accept that he won the election.

    Free speech is free.

Complete and utter nonsense. She may or may not be an idiot.

People are weird. Free speech is free.

(And a good example of how virulently far-right liberals are.)

NOTHING is free. Perhaps this is something you need to stop and investigate. For entertainment purposes, if nothing else.

    Complete nonsense. Utter twaddle.

What the woman did was not illegal, and to say that one may not advocate for the murder of a US president (not that she did this) is purely ignorant nonsense.
