I do not support the idea of a military draft.
Quarantining people who have an active disease, should still be voluntary.

Thank you for playing, come visit again.

The vaccines don't prevent you from getting the Delta variant. That's why even in the most highly vaccinated places, the virus is still spreading. If you are exposed to the Delta variant enough, the vaccinated will get and spread it, even if they are just asymptomatic. What the vaccinations do do is decrease hospitalizations and deaths. But, the vaccinated spread the Delta variant just as much as the unvaccinated do. Until the left wakes up to this fact, Delta will continue spreading.

So, if you can't enter a public school unvaccinated, you're being coerced? What about attending a public university, taking public transit, flying commercial aircraft or attending a football game?

I didn't say Trump. I said "The Party of Trump"

But it makes me happy to see you running away (by changing the subject) from the previous absurd equivalence you made between putting people's life at risk by accident and putting them at risk due to negligence.

    That is progress!

Well the poster I was responding to has stated it should be illegal to not get vaccinated... but beyond that, there are many businesses that dont want to mandate vaccines for their employees, but govt is forcing them to.

Are you suggesting everyone who opposes vaccine mandates are 'the party of Trump'?

The government should not be mandating vaccines, period.

I support any private company's right to make mandates on their employees or customers. IE - we are going on a cruise and the cruise company needs proof of our vaccination. No issue from me.

What makes a vaccinated person infecting someone with covid 'accidental' while a unvaccinated person infecting someone with covid 'negligent'? They both have knowingly exposed someone else while potentially infected.

I NEVER say "everyone". Binary thinking is a characteristic exclusive to the right. We on the left don't regard it as rational. And I never "suggest". I SAY what is on my mind.

Looks like you missed my edit to that post. So here it goes again

What risk do unvaccinated people pose to you (a vaccinated person)? Doesn't your vaccine work?

You are mistaken. I am not a Trump loyalist. Therefore, I am not under the delusion that this is about me.

You jumped into a discussion without first finding out what it's about?

READ the post you responded to... and even quoted.

The size and scope of government are examined and discussed as an issue in high school. What does government do? What did it do in the past? How much does it cost? What services do people want? What does the Constitution say?

The list of federal agencies blew minds: https://www.usa.gov/federal-agencies

The government is an employer. Should they be able to mandate vaccination as an employer?

What about the military? Should the government be able to demand the military get vaccinated?

Breakthrough cases? This is from British Columbia:

"Past week, cases per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Oct. 29 to Nov. 4)
    • Not vaccinated: 255.0
    • Partially vaccinated: 60.9
    • Fully vaccinated: 26.6
Past two weeks, cases hospitalized per 100,000 population after adjusting for age (Oct. 22 to Nov. 4)
    • Not vaccinated: 58.0
    • Partially vaccinated: 14.7
    • Fully vaccinated: 3.0"
    https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2021HLTH0069-002125

See red above. These are the breakthrough cases.
People don't want to actually get covid to build protection.

We don't know which covid positives have the superior natural protection and which do not.

If you don't get it--and we're not talking about asymptomatic infections--you don't spread it.

Say a vaccinated person isn't social distancing but an unvaccinated person is. Which one is being negligent?

Good to know you would allow people with drug resistant TB to run around.
