    His attempt to reverse the election had nothing to do with either patriotism or truth. Nor is it "left wing radical" to say, hey, maybe it would be cool to prefer the Constitution over God Emperor Trump. I'm sorry Trump and his blind followers feel otherwise.

    Dereliction of duty, as he watched it unfold on TV without doing anything, should at least make anyone who values the democratic process to question his judgement and distance themselves from the former president. Do you not agree?

    No, I don't. Trump was quite clear in his speech about a PEACEFUL protest. The mob acted on their own to BECOME a mob. Trump would not even have been heard standing in the middle of the Rotunda yelling. This had nothing to do with the "Democratic process". It was just an out of control mob... you know... like Kenosha, Minneapolis, LA, Seattle, Baltimore, Ferguson...

    Listen to the speech. Trump said to be peaceful, but "let their voices be heard". That is NOT an incitement to violence. Not at all. Only one of 800 was charged with having a gun... ONE... in 800. The only person shot was shot by a cop. Obviously it was just a protest... nothing more.

    So you agree, the "Leader of the Free World" should have just sat there and watched TV as his staff, members of Congress and Fox talking heads were pleading with him to make a statement to the media denouncing their actions and telling them to withdraw? When asked to stand up for democracy you sit down and rationalize.

    What an authoritarian thing to post.:roflol: For one, we don't have any clue if Trump caused the riot you call an insurrection. Besides, due process is in a macro sense a part of The Constitution.

    Yeah we do. Violence is more likely to break out when elites disagree on indivisible problems. So when trump kept saying the most secure election in US history was fraudulent? That provided the groundwork for violence to break out.

    Trump reacted consistent to his free speech ideology after the Jan. 6 riots as he reacted after the Charlotteville riots when the white supremacist fascists fought the white-hater fascists over the pulling down of the Civil War statue.

    I guess, certain types don't get the concept of free speech.
    I guess, certain types also don't get the concept of due process (innocent until proven guilty).:roll:
