#1 I can go for that
#2 can not happen, owning a gun is a right, not a privilege
it would be like asking people to get a license and register to practice a religion

we also need to fire the FBI agent that dropped the ball and did not follow procedure in this case, people need to be held responsible when they fail to do their job and someone like this goes unaddressed - that is the only way to make sure it doesn't happen again... put the agents name out there, shame him, no one else will make that horrible mistake again

I do not agree with blaming it on Trump's FBI under Trump or Obama's FBI under Obama... this agent failed us.....

I would bet everything I own that this poor school security guard was never warned that a potential psychopathic murderer was nearby and actively threatening to shoot up a school!

The hooptie FBI was in possession of all that information, but obviously it was beneath them to inform any of the local LEO's, or to get up off their bureaucratic asses and actually DO something about this imminent danger to the school.

I am not sure why this FBI agent (not the one in your picture) dropped the ball, but we need to investigate it, find out and make sure it never happens again

Obviously, this is a systemic failure in the FBI. As the old Sicilian proverb states, "FISH ROTS FROM THE HEAD DOWN." President Trump needs to order the upper-most management of the FBI to be fired immediately and replaced with capable, energetic people who will get up off their bureaucratic asses and ACT on credible threats to our safety!

[IMG]. "So, can I, like, RETIRE now...?!"

I am a gamer. I have owned gaming systems since Atari through my current system Play Station 4. I have played 1000's of games, including games that are first person shooter games. I have never had a single thought to actually go out and murder mass amounts of people.

I am fascinated that people like you actually believe a video game can make someone commit murder.

Ok so, to you, murder only counts when it's done with a gun.

Oh, well hold now, I have to rephrase.

Murder only counts when its done with a gun fired by a White guy.

Kate Steinle was murdered by someone with a gun.

Danny Oliver was murdered by someone with a gun.

Michael Davis Jr. was murdered by someone with a gun.

Donald Young was murdered by someone with a gun.

Micah Lee Flick was murdered by someone with a gun.

Eric Oliver was murdered by someone with a gun.

Ever heard of any of those names?

Ever read about them on your approved media sites?

Ever made posts demanding "action" on threads talking about them?

Please explain why this was the FBI's job as compared to the BATF, the Broward county sheriff, or FDLE

Are you a teen on psychotropic drugs? I am fascinated that people like you actually believe a gun can make someone commit murder. Maybe we should require a background check for anyone purchasing a 1st person shooter video game, a license to purchase and a video game safety course.

Exactly why we will NEVER fix societies sickness. Easy to blame on an inanimate object almost impossible to take individual responsibility for the why we got to this point.

1: Yes. Good thing the AWB was in place to prevent Columbine... right, troll?

2:. So, I can buy tanks, machine guns, and bazookas and any other weapons i want, unrestricted, and operate them without any license, registration, or insurance, as long as I keep them on my own property, just like automobiles? This is worth considering.

Blame an inanimate object and NOT even address the society that is spawning these killers.

The first is easy and requires nothing other than bleating like a sheep, the second requires value judgements and Hard/Harsh reflections on what we will, or will not, tolerate as a society.

    Now can you understand?

Why are the large, explosive fireworks illegal to own without a license? Is it "blaming an inanimate object" too?

Just the fact of your moniker disqualifies you in this conversation. I own 5 guns and I know the importance of restricting access.

The manufacture and sale of the rifle on the left was banned 1994-2004
The manufacture and sale of the rifle on the right was not.
Explain how your claim can be correct.

1: The constitution does not allow the state to require someone obtain a license for the basic exercise of a right.
2: You do not need a license to buy a car, own one, keep it on your property, or use it on private property.
3: You do not to register a car, to buy one, own one, keep it on your property, or use it on private property.

    Got that?

Human error will always be an issue. In anything a human is involved in.
Even if brain surgery. But there are ways to mitigate the consequences of said errors, and even eliminating many of them.

It doesn't make one likely to go out and commit murder.
But to some, especially mentally ill, it can blur the lines between reality and make believe. IMO, certainly no Psych.

I completely agree with your statement. You and I just disagree on the "ways to mitigate the consequences of said errors".

because they're unpredictable and volatile. Proper handling and storage is an absolute must and it is complicated. Guns are very safe they do not go off in less you intend to make them go off.

If fireworks where a two piece object where you could take one part away from the other and the each part is absolutely harmless separate like ammunition and a gun then it probably wouldn't be as regulated.

no it isn't. You can get a license to handle it but handling is crucial.

    no it does not.

    gun ownership is very restricted.
