I love lobster. Usually either boil it myself or go to Red Lobster for it.

    I love lobster also.

That's why I DON'T go to Red Lobster for it. Unless you get Larry out of the tank, you are getting previously frozen who-knows-how-old sorta lobster.

    Lobster? Umm... not a fan.

Maybe if it was breaded and served with cocktail sauce.

Marriage was the norm for My Generation and even more so for
the generation before me.However nowadays to be Married and
straight appears to be { according to Leftists } some kind of Freak
    of Nature.
Whereas They the Freaks of Nature.
    It's called Projection.Or Transference.

    States With Highest Divorce Rates

    State
Divorce Rate (per 1,000 residents) 2016 Voting Record
    Alaska 4.1 Republican
    Arkansas 4.8 Republican
    Nevada 4.6 Democrat
    Oklahoma 4.4 Republican
    Wyoming 4.1 Republican
    https://divorce.lovetoknow.com/Divorce_Statistics_Republicans_vs._Democrats

It was previously thought that socioeconomic hardships in the South were largely to blame for high divorce rates, however Glass and her fellow researchers concluded that the conservative religious culture is in fact a major contributing factor thanks to “the social institutions they create” that “decrease marital stability.”

Specifically, putting pressure on young people to marry sooner, frowning upon cohabitation before marriage, teaching abstinence-only sex education and making access to resources like emergency contraception more difficult all result in earlier childbearing ages and less-solid marriages from the get-go, Glass writes in the paper.

“It’s surprising,” W. Bradford Wilcox, director of the National Marriage Project, told The Los Angeles Times. “In some contexts in America today, religion is a buffer against divorce. But in the conservative Protestant context, this paper is showing us that it’s not.”

Can’t really get a divorce if you don’t get married. I think it is safe to assume that a demographic with a higher rate of marriage will also have a higher rate of divorce.

Obviously that isn't the determining factor. For example, California has a higher marriage rate than many southern states

Also, we divorce more because we marry more, is hardly a good argument in defense of marriage.

I will never forget the words of a young woman I saw. When I asked how she feels about marriage, she responded: "My parents are divorced. My grandparents are all divorced. And they all hate each other. Why would I want to get married?!?!"

Marriages have been declining because people see the results.

PS. I'm not against marriage. I would have married Number One in a heartbeat, and she knew it! I just think its value has been overstated. It works for some people. For about half of us, it doesn't or didn't.

She got me some kind of low-carb treat for my birthday, and put a candle on it. As instructed, I made a wish and blew out the flame. I looked at her and said, DAMN! It didn't work, or something like that. How can you know so fast? she inquired. You aren't wearing a wedding dress, I responded very frankly. That was the only time I ever saw her blush. :D

Alaska should not count because of the low population.
    And it's harsh overall conditions { Cabin fever anyone }
Nor Nevada { where many couples go to get a divorce }.
    Or Married.

If you take the time to read, you will see that I didn't introduce politics. We were talking about marriage and divorce. I was responding to an unprovoked crackpot attack.

You can't even talk about sex without someone here making it political.

HAH! Nobody can be a worse decision maker than Sanchez. The problem was, Rex and him had such a great personal relationship that Rex's judgement was skewed. The Jets, during the Brady era for the Pats, could have had a lot more success had they dumped Sanchez earlier.

Who knows though? Darnold was the ONLY QB in the draft that was NFL ready. I think he's your guy

He does seem like he has above average skill but that doesn't mean that skill will roll into NFL caliber skill. Ive given up on high hopes and settled into the reality of you never know. Its so beyond what he did in college and what they see in his potential. That all becomes a gigantic question mark because there is no comparison between where he came from and where he is now. Can he adapt? Can he learn the system because he is a natural or is this a forced thing? Can they support him so he learns at a pace he can afford to learn or will they use him to soon so we see him flounder and get crushed?
The timing would be perfect. He grows into be a consistent high caliber quarterback and Brady retires the champion he deserves to be labeled.
We have been on the losing side of the ball for so long my high hopes every season got worn down to wait and see. lol

I think Watson and Wentz are proof that you can be QB NFL ready. The important part is situational awareness. Knowing that the lineman and linebackers attacking you are much faster than in college. The QB needs to know the receivers are better route runners than in college and that throws must be much more accurate.

Learning the system is adaptability. Some have it. Most don't.

I'm a life-long Jets hater but I gotta admire the pick

I can't disagree with any of that, bu when she says "Love you long time sailor!" Take it literally - and figuratively. ;-)
