Could you take the fence down and cut the post off at ground level? And put it out by the curb with a free sign?

There ya go, and unlike my oak tomato tables your cage will last forever.

That's one reason why my tomato tables are bigger and sturdier than the one I posted from Colonial Williamsburg - it takes a lot longer for mine to lose their structural integrity and rot. I don't need to be building one of those things every year...

    You're welcome.

I didn't know about Waterperry Gardens until last week when Bing posted a picture of the Formal Garden on their home page. You can get a lot of great garden ideas from Waterperry's web page.

If you like that you'll love Mount Stewart in Northern Ireland - if you haven't seen it before prepared to be blown away:

put a few or gaggle of rocks in a different pattern. The finished product ain't like
replacing a bathroom { by removing a bathtub }. Or is it.

I had to catch an unforeseen flight yesterday from Spokane to Burbank with a layover in Oakland. Since it was booked at the last minute I was way down on the boarding order which I understand. Of course all of the window seats were taken by the time I boarded but both flights I was next so someone that as soon as the landing gear was up they closed the shade and watched a movie on their phone/pad for the whole flight. If you aren’t going to look out of the window, why sit next to it?

Just got my John Deere E180 lawn tractor today and what an upgrade from the D140 that I've beat the crap out of for the past 5 years! Bigger engine, bigger deck, but the biggest upgrade was in the steering. That puppy will turn on a dime.

:flagus: MADE IN AMERICA, baby, and worth every extra penny. I gotta write the boys and girls out in Greeneville, Tennessee to tell them how happy I am with their handiwork...

That doesn't make a damned bit of sense. I always get a window seat because that's the best part about flying - lookin' out the window.

    And I'm acrophobic for crissakes...

Same with me. I start getting shaky about five feet up a ladder. I enjoy flying. In the Air Force, I'd lie on the cargo ramp and look down at the ground, or be looking out the open window. We often flew with the cargo door open.

I made sure I had the restraint adjusted properly, though.

A roofer is (supposedly) coming by Wednesday morning. That will make the house look better.

I'm inclined to get new siding, but might just settle for new paint.

There's some bad wood that has to be replaced.

Being a driver for a major trucking company had advantages. The company spent $50million every year on Goodyear tires. We were a good customer.

We were such a good customer that every year our names got put in a hat. Names would get pulled out and we would get a ride in their blimps. Five years ago, I won the lotto.

Pretty sad looking excuse for a criminal if you ask me. No neck tattoos, teardrop tattoos, scars that look like a zipper, nothing.

On one of my favorite helicopter rides, we were winding through the mountains, following some river. I was standing there, looking out the window, and looked up at a fire outpost. A couple of firemen were tossing a Frisbee.

Late summer 1989 my armor unit was called to help fight a massive wild land fire near McCall Idaho. From Base Camp we were flown to our assigned areas via Blackhawk helicopter. Had some E-ticket rides for several weeks.

Is that considered a Shotgun house.Where rooms are not divided.
You walk in and there might be a bedroom, then behind that a bathroom,
then behind that a Kitchen, then a back room.
