    I know, quite a few of us don't like this new site. But I'll give it this... they've made some improvements in the readibility lately -- now if they just put back the features they took away, we can settle down to getting used to it. Until that happens, it feels like we're posting on a half-finished forum. I agree... it's weird.

    Happy freaking Monday, y'all! LOL

    May is birthday month for my boys. Oldest was last week, youngest is this week. Doing their thing together this evening....BBQ chicken, beans, potato salad, cornbread and the famous chocolate cake. Middle son's is always right around Memorial Day weekend, so we'll figure that one out later. Commissioning five cadets on Friday, and after that ceremony is over, I'm going to crash on my deck for the weekend. New patio furniture is on the way, hubby and I have put in a new deck. Party in June!

    I've nearly got a new patio myself... thx to one of the roomies who got bored this spring and asked me (!) if he could work in the back yard. He's been busily trimming and pruning and hauling away stuff for the last 2 weeks and it looks great! Amazing how overgrown my backyard can get in one season. One of the advantages/disadvantages of building a house in the middle of what used to be woods.

    BTW, Kimi... that email you asked me if I got from TPA? I did. Kinda strange... I didn't even know it was down! ;)

    Yeah, our house was built in the same kind of area. We have woods on one side and the back of our house, which is nice but it does keep things kind of wild in the back yard.

    LOL...the email was strange. I guess if we had been actually keeping up with it, we would have known WTH it was about, huh?

    Yes, it's nice. The old one was falling apart and hubby and I re-did the new one in about a 15-16 hour span. Love the smell of new lumber...LOL

    Went to our cabin in the woods for my birthday. Hopefully this weekend the tattoo, dinner and a stroll through the arts district will be on the way. Its so great to finally turn 21. I mean now I dont have to have a fake Id or anything. lol

    About dam time!! We were fixin to send out the Texas Rangers (and I don't mean the baseball team!)
