Governor Abbott got himself on a little power trip, mandating masks in public (except for restaurants smh) effective tomorrow.

My message to Mr. Abbott is you can kiss my hairy white ***.

I traveled to Moscow in mid-March, had to come back by way of NYC and here I am in friggin July......and NOW you tell me a mask is going to make a damn difference??? A little late isn't it? You mean to tell me you put my life at risk for the last 5 months?

That little turd Fauci said masks didn't do squat....before he said they did....before any study has been conducted proving one way or the other a mask works.

Here's an idea, ban liberal protests and blm thuggery.

I'm ok with it, I'm wearing one anyway.

 

Although AZ isn't quite as strict as TX (very close though), it's ridiculous. The mask debate has been going on for sometime now, and unless its a N95 mask it really doesn't do any good. I wear a mask into certain businesses out of respect for the fact they are trying to be complaint, but I don't agree. It even says on the packaging for masks that they do not prevent or protect from Covid-19.

Fauci is an a$$hat that changes his "expert" advice all the damn time. It's all simply ridiculous!

However when I do wear my mask, my mask sums up my feelings:

 

Im at this very moment winding and cutting links for a chainmail mask that will comply with the law while not restricting my breathing in the slightest. Also its the first excuse I've had to wear chainmail regularly. Also its gonna look badass.

Surgical masks are better than nothing as they prevent the spread of droplets. Breathe on your hand then do the same thing except with a surgical mask on or even put your shirt over your mouth and you can see the difference.

Wearing a mask in public serves the same purpose as wearing pants - it may not change the world but it certainly
makes the people around you more comfortable. It's common curtesy. Wear the mask and quit whining like a 5 year old having a temper tantrum.

 

From the original game, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile all wore masks. I don't think any were originally portrayed as chain mail though. I have seen later artist interpretations of the masks with slats and even a scorpion on Scorpion's face.

There are a lot of Mortal Kombat games and a lot of characters. Maybe the character you are thinking of from one of those games. Scorpion and Sub-Zero are probably the most famous masked ninja looking characters though.

Nowhere in the constitution is common courtesy grounds for law.

 

It'll be heavy, but it wont restrict airflow or blow my hot break back on my face. Good trade imo.

 

All you have to do is say you have a medical condition that contraindicates wearing a mask. You don't even have to tell them what it is. This won't fly at ur job, but it'll work out in public, like at the grocery. The people that wrote the law arent willing to get sued if someone with asthma or COPD or severe claustrophobia has a medical emergency from wearing a mask.

 

It's funny how these "new studies" constantly contradict themselves...no wonder everyone gets confused!

I sometimes act like that person just because I hate when people stand too close to me in line, especially when I am paying, not really a Rona issue more like a "get the hell out of my bubble issue!" Lol

However if you have seasonal allergies...the death glares are unbelievable...but people stay away from you haha!
