You are being obtuse and disingenuous for the sake of being obtuse.

The right wing in the 21st century is all Big Government Progressivism (hint: that is democratic socialism) and the GOP is hemorrhaging money, two trillion this year alone

Drive ahead a couple of decades. Are they better off today than in say, 2001? How's the crime rate? The literacy rate? The single motherhood rate? Etc.

The only programs which actually level the playing field - because they work for ANYONE who puts them to use - are free education and free healthcare.

Only because they don't have the first clue of what it is, and what it would mean for their 'lifestyle'. You're talking about people who literally think it means free stuff.

That is an assertion you have not supported, as you well know. The far right say blacks are doing better today under Trump.

Cannot it have it both ways.

Of course the younger genxrs and down know what is socialism, and that is why they laugh at the far right.

As a talking point for the 2020 campaign, this issue is already a loser for the GOP.

While I don't agree they are the ONLY programs which help, I agree with you in supporting them. :)

More programs actually do help level the playing field than free health care and free education.

However, I cannot think of other programs that are as important as those two areas.

And just how will making our healthcare system work like the DMV be better?

The government spends more than it takes in. Sounds like too much of a credit risk to turn over my healthcare to.

I don't see how anyone can support the master-slave paradigm offered by the "progressives". The idea is that we are all supposed to have equal rights. No masters. No slaves.

They don't have the first clue. They're LITERALLY think it will be just like today, but with more Arts Grants and free houses.

The right probably gets that it means LESS than what we have today, not more. In which case they're absolutely correct.

No, they are all that any able bodied person in the First World needs to get ahead. No one is starving. No war. No Ebola.

Of course I support them. Just as I support taxation, and welfare for non-able bodied people.

No they don't. If they did, they would have done so by now. The field is absolutely levelled by free education and healthcare. Those who are determined to become financially secure will put those two things to use. Those determined to remain poor will not.

They're not for equality, we know that by now. They're for an easy life for SOME, while others do all the work.

That says something about Spiritgide, not the business or the employees or the customers.

Indeed. Scrooge was likely thanked more often.

But Scrooge didn't treat his people well. No deserving employee ever asked me for a raise, because if they earned it, they got it. You seem to suffer from the illusion that all employees actually earn their pay and are exploited by their employers... and that IS an illusion.

No, spiritgide, that is an illusion of yours: in fact, "not all employees earn their pay and are exploited by their employers" is not believed by anyone.

My family and I were often thanked by employees and customers for the great services we provided in the various communities where we did business.

The key is to make sure than internal employee care is as good as quality customer care.
