You posted this, but I wonder. Do you think this paragraph is in error? The big mistake is when people attribute literally EVERYTHING to slavery, when, IMO, there are a multitude of factors to the development of this country. Slavery was a big mistake by our country from the outset, but, just as it should, we changed our country over a period of time. is there more work to do? You bet!

“I’ve unlocked a new terrain in the culture war, and demonstrated a successful strategy,” said Rufo, a documentary filmmaker-turned-conservative activist. With that done, he was getting ready for a new phase of his offensive.

“We are right now preparing a strategy of laying siege to the institutions,” he said. In practice, this means promoting the traditional Republican school choice agenda: private school vouchers, charter schools and home-schooling. “The public schools are waging war against American children and American families,” he said. When Rufo, with Tucker Carlson's help, first created the controversy over CRT out of nothing I doubt he knew what a lightning rod issue for Repubs it would become. But now it's become apparent he struck culture war gold. The thing Repubs love to exploit. Social division. And they are very, very good at it.

 

It's stunning to see how quickly fatuous right wing talking points have been so thoroughly ingrained in to the vernacular of The Following. Talk about indoctrination.

there are bad teachers, and they should be encouraged to find other opportunities. my post was in reference to an op who said that such teachers could not or would not be fired. which is false.
