South Africa - Why White People?

South Africa lost when it became a one-vote, one-man democracy--democracy will always fail because it feeds off of the prejudices and jealousies of the masses, and silences the independent mind.

 

The Nazis went out to conquer nations and committed genocide against the Jews and Slavs, while the Confederacy was fighting for their freedom from the Federal government. Big difference! This doesn't mean owning slaves was right, and in time they would have abolished it, but it was nothing unusual. In the Islamic world slavery was common place until Britain took over.

A great-great grand aunt of mine was taking into slavery by the Ottomans, and she was one of the lucky ones. She survived the massacre, tens of thousands didn't. Does it mean the Turks should discard their heritage? Does it mean that all the Islamic nations should discard their heritage because they owned slaves? How far back should we go with this?

There were black boys in all the royal palaces in Europe. Do you think it was better if they were left to starve or to fend for food in some jungle than to be clothed and fed in a palace? I think they were the lucky ones.

Anyway this doesn't excuse the blacks in Africa who caught the slaves and the Arabs who bought them or the ship owners who kept them in atrocious conditions. From then on it was a matter of fate where they would end up. Regardless they were better off than those who were castrated by the blacks and Arabs and sold to the Ottomans, or the women who saw their babies killed because they weren't white.

 

The 5% who came to N. America were generally better off than the rest.

 

George Washington had over 300 slaves. Why are there no accounts of his slaves being raped? Why is this only mentioned over Jefferson and on him the slave was seen more like a girlfriend than a slave?

If these slave owners were such arsehats, why are they rated so high as presidents?

 

Why do you have to go back to another era in order to find that very same treatment occurring today? Pretending you care about the slaves in Western history when you don't even think about the slave that was sold just yesterday. It's almost as if you have an agenda. :/

 

Before boarding ships taken to our part of the world, and as i understand this most slaves were first taken to the Caribbean islands and there worked as slaves first, later some made it to the USA to work here. By the time they got to the USA they were much more reliable as slaves.

But imagine blacks in West Africa running out of food, running through the country there seeking something to eat and suddenly got captured. Not captured by whites, but by black slavers.

Blacks on American plantations had a place to live, food and clothes and the essentials to sustain life. In Africa a lot more starved and were killed while being hunted.

Blacks must live in the now, not what things were like for dead ancestors.

 

People whining about slavery never tell the story to the readers of those 630,000 Americans who died waging war for Abe Lincoln along with the Leaders in the South. It is like slaves matter, 630,000 dead whites not at all.

 

They had medical treatment and their lifespan doubled.
Hell, their ancestors might even grow up to be president.

 

Never even heard of a black, going up to a northern white and thanking them.

 

People consider Jews as being people and understand why it's sick and sadistic to flout a swastika. Black people are thought of as "technically" people, more cartoon characters than fellow Americans and it is thought that no one has the the right to point that out the rebel flag is an equal symbol of hate and oppression.

By this point racist will be throwing up their hands saying "O good! This again!"

Most people would never say "O good! This again!" about the Holocaust because they're considered full fledged people. Black people were drowned in the ocean, beat and raped to death, worked to death had their freedom and humanity taken from them. Millions of people for for hundreds of years not just a handful of years but because they're not thought of as real people anyone saying anything bad about the confederacy is considered to be just making problems for the sake of making problems in the minds of racists.

Yes the politicians of other countries care nothing for their nation just like our politicians, they care only how they can spin things to make themselves look like the good guys and sometimes that means doing the right thing.... usually not these days.

reagan wasn't a stupid man, he had to consider that it would cost America more to house them in prison than in asylums, that dumping the insane onto the streets would cost millions of American lives and harm millions more. These monsters mixed with the criminal class to create super monsters and he know full well that republicans voters are easily mislead, they are always looking for enemies to point fingers at and someone to save them so it worked out well for the party.

 

Obama is a rare president. His father was born and raised in Kenya and he himself held Kenyan citizenship up to his age of 23.

 

A lot of Americans, perhaps millions of us simply do not see the confederate flag the way you see it. I believe I got rid of my bias against the South and the battle flag and hope you can get over the same bias I was taught to have.

As to the Nazi flag, most of the hate vs it centers on the Jews. Notice the rest of the murders against many others killed by the Nazis seems not to be a very important issue, just the Jews are considered.

That war ended in 1945 and the few using that flag do not cause me fear. I own a confederate flag yet never have wanted one of the Nazi flags. German history is not as keen for me as is American history. Still my time living in Germany caused me to lose biases I had when I first landed in Germany. I truly thought they were evil people. I had to learn that those surviving were actually some nice people. I used to take my Army clothes to a local German laundry and those nice people invited me to come to their christmas party. And they had a most lovely daughter. Nothing happened but she was very hot so I recall her from 1962.

America has major biases. First the South is thought of today as the enemy. It is considered as redneck country. It is smeared very often. It also was a stronghold of Democrats. Some of those must be living in other states. But the people living in the South in my view are nice people.

 

I've heard of court cases where fathers who rape their daughters say basically the same thing. You would be starving on the streets if it wasn't for me.

They were traitors.

They fooled the poor into fighting for wealthy land owners so that they could own other people which took jobs from those same fools.
That's the only freedom they really wanted. It's just more wealthy claiming they would be impoverished if they had to pay for American workers.

 

Every racist these days claims not to be racist in public, they pretend that the flag isn't what it is but that only works with other racists everyone else can see what they're doing and why their doing it.

I look like a good old boy and my large family fled southern poverty to the rich blue states I still have lots of family in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee. I had a southern ascent as a child because I grew up in a gang neighborhood so I spent all of my time around southerners. So southern racists feel comfortable around me and let it out in front of me.

I know the history and judge history by history not how people want history to appear.

 

I read something once by a black who ran off as a child and was captured and castrated. He was half buried in the sand for days afterwards, and the pain was unbelievable. He said he was one of the few that survived. But these things are still going on. Today, the quickest way for criminals to make money other than drugs, is to cut people open for their organs.

Anyway I can't understand how people can dwell on things in the past. I don't recall anyone in my mother's family talking about a massacre which so horrified Europe that a painting by Delacroix of it is hanging in Louvre and a novel was written about it by Alexander Dumas. I don't even know how my ancestors escaped?

Good grief. That is cruel. I am sure in my distant past with my distant ancestors ugly things took place in their lives as well.

A story i read in the family archive once was the women rushing out to the fallen cannon balls to gather them up so the men could put them in their cannons and fire them back. One might not expect expended ammo to be recycled. Apparently the women used their aprons to gather the hot balls.

 

As a young boy, I too had the southern accent. I grew out of it. Sure some racists deny it. Be they black or white. They might easily deny it. But look, does that mean you are a special hero?

 

That's the difference between a northern girl and a southern girl.

A northern girl says, " You can come spend the night with me"

A southern girl says.. Y'all can come spend the night with me.

 

Yes outgrowing my racism enough to see through my and other peoples BS makes me a special hero, possiblity a super hero.

 

But you sound like you truly loathe the whites. I notice it and suspect others will as well.

 

Being that I have said absolutely nothing that blankets white people I'm going to assume you comfort yourself a lot with that thought.

 

You stated that "blacks far and away are the guilty party when it comes to who craps on them." And I say that completely ignores history, such as the colonization of Africa, centuries of slavery, institutionalized racism, and lynchings.

 

Oh, OK I am speaking of the past 20 years, not back in Africa where blacks leapt on blacks to capture them for the market in slaves.

Germany is a powerful nation, far more powerful than after WWI when it was under the treaty of Versailles, makes the sacrifices the Jews made perfectly acceptable in your eyes.
