Pick a story and I will link it to the appropriate commandment.

    Is that 1 Kings 2:23-24 or 2 Kings 2:23-24?

OK, in 2 Kings 2:23-24 it says = https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2kings2:23-24&version=CEB;CEV;ERV;TLB;NKJV. It is a scene in which a group of youths insulted Elisha by calling him a bald head. Elisha got ticked at the insult and cursed them in the name of the Lord and two female bears came out of the woods and killed forty-two of the youths.

The preceding events involved Elijah calling down fire on two groups of fifty soldiers. Elisha was Elijah's main flunkey and insisted on following him everywhere he went. In addition to having the power to call down fire from heaven to consume his enemies, Elijah also had a magic mantle that could part the river so that he could walk arose it on dry ground. After Elijah got zipped away on a chariot of fire to heaven Elisha took possession of the mantle and used it to part the waters. He also could make the bitter water sweet by pouring a bowl of salt into the source. It was after that the he met the youths.

This story falls under the First Commandment, Exodus 34:11-16 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=exodus34:11-16&version=CEB;CEV;ERV;TLB;NKJV

Remember, the story starts with the death of Ahab and the subsequent rebellion of Moab against Israel. Ahaziah, Ahab's son became king os Israel in Samaria but he had a nasty fall and was severely injured. He then sent messengers to Ekron to ask its god Baal-Zebub, if he would recover from his injury. That is when an angel told Elijah about Ahaziah's condition and to put a curse of death upon him.

So, the point of the story is that Ahaziah had forsaken the god of Israel in favor of a foreign god and his action had led the people astray so that they no longer respected the Israelite chief priest. That is why the youth taunted Elisha. Is shows the severe consequence of violating the First Commandment and worshiping foreign gods. It applied to everyone from the king to the common youths as well as to the soldiers who were simply carrying out the kings order's.
