In citing "allhiphop.com" (lol), you left out the main point of the article. Or at least the point that most of the article was devoted to.

But, there is a clear distinction. Drejka is Caucasian and McGlockton is Black... One study says "SYG (Stand Your Ground) legislation in Florida has a quantifiable racial bias that reveals a leniency in convictions if the victim is non-White."

Setting aside the fact that a single nameless unreplicated "study" is not science, it was probably made up in the first place because it was...nameless. And the author is clearly someone who revels in racial self-pity. But then Drejka goes and gets arrested for manslaughter, wrecking the whole "SYG just lets black people get killed with impunity" narrative. Is that why you left it out?

 

But you know, I might be wrong. Maybe people who use SYG against black people do in fact get convicted less often. It would actually be in keeping with SYG laws, as they usually say something along the lines of "had a reasonable fear of death". Well, when 13% of the population commits over 50% of the homicides, increased fear of death is definitely reasonable (and that 13% is being generous, because it includes the females too). So you reap what you sow.

Wrong. Blacks kill whites at a much higher rate than the reverse. Just because you don't like the statistics, it doesn't give you license to misrepresent them. Maybe pick a topic that doesn't make you so uncomfortable that you resort to making sh!t up.

Let's be factual. Those numbers are overwhelmingly black on black, and anyone who says differently is not doing the research.

Here in Colorado, we still have a more-or-less workable "Make My Day" law. It's a 'slippery-slope', especially now that liberal Democrats have all but completely taken over Colorado, but in general, if criminals threaten you on your own property you can defend yourself with impunity. Two suggestions, though (recommended recently during a "concealed-carry seminar" conducted by attorneys) --

1. Make damn sure you shoot the attacker in the FRONT of the body

2. Your chances of escaping prosecution are much better if you kill the attacker INSIDE YOUR DWELLING!

Then, pray you don't get slapped with a 'manslaughter' charge....

Then, pray you don't get slapped with a 'manslaughter' charge....

Oh, and in Colorado, if you're trying to stop thieves who are stealing things that are located on your property, be very damned careful! Odds are good that YOU'LL be charged with manslaughter, hit with lawsuits, and all the outrageous 'fun' that happens to people who are trying to defend themselves AND their property....

How did this kind of crap get started? We were invaded by huge numbers of Californians in the 1990's, and everything went totally to hell after that....
