" We were deeply troubled by text messages exchanged between Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions were impacted by bias or improper considerations. Most of the text messages raising such questions pertained to the Russia investigation , which was not a part of this review. Nonetheless, when one senior FBI official, Strzok, who was helping lead the Russia investigation at the time, conveys in a text message to another senior FBI official, Page, " No, he won't. We'll stop it", in response to her question , " [Trump's ] not ever going to become president, right ?!" , it is not only indicative of a biased state of mind, but even, more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate's electoral prospects. It is antithetical to the core values of the FBI and the Department of Justice.

Seems to me there is clear bias to make sure Trump didn't win. Helped do that by looking over Hillary's refusal to turn over her E-mails she was asked/ordered to turn over. E-mails that were compromised buy foreign sources. Peter Strzok was involved in every part of Hillary's E-mail and testimony. Along with the Russian probe to try and impeach Trump. So I don't know what the hell he was talking about, no bias. Hillary should have never been able to run for President.

 

At the risk of repeating myself . . . with all this perpetual in-fighting and back-stabbing going on in the administration ever since the inauguration, I can only respect the POTUS for making such a good fist of it so far.

We see the heavy bias throughout the report and yet we are being told there is no bias? It must be our lyin' eyes.

If he has to re-train members not to have bias in their investigations, or to no accept bribes, then it becomes a question of character, and no amount of training can change that. The culture within some FBI departments must change but that can only happen with a thorough cleansing. Wray made the point that it's not difficult to find new people.

You really need to quit focusing on the Summary Report. Get off your lazy *** and read the full report.

Read, but don’t focus on, “executive summary”/“conclusions”; those two sections were written post facto by administrators in FBI/DOJ leadership. Focus on substance of documented facts within the IG report. You’ll note specific facts don’t support the “summary/conclusion”.

 

Glad he is your new hero but there are now five referred for discipline based on there highly biased emails including the guy in charge of Hillary’s investigation so the claim of no bias is hollow gesturing.

This wasn't just an opinion. He told her the FBI will stop him and they tried by failing to bring charges up on Hillary, believing she could easily beat him in the election.

 

Perhaps not all but can you name any countries in the western democracies who are happy with their government? Certainly many are upset about the EU and being ruled from Brussels, Immigration, losing their culture, the rising powers of bureaucracies, and so on. This feeling of powerlessness and alienation from their government leadership does seem to be quite widespread.

The personal opinions of a couple of FBI underlings don't prove some kind of conspiracy, but they don't look good for the FBI, either. Bad for their image, to say the least.

"We'll stop him," reeks of the coordination aspect of a RICO violation coupled with, "In Andy's office." McCabe and Comey were not underlings... They were the top tier.

Not to mention that Strzok used unverified Russian fabricated information as evidence in a FISA warrant application. Rosenstein signed off on one of these applications.

Comey was covering his own behind because the NY office called and asked him for details about the subpoena they were supposed to have pursued.

 

"We'll stop him" reeks of private joking between colleagues. Let's see evidence of any abuse by anyone in the FBI. A private message of this kind is not that.

 

We certainly don't want corrupt actors in our highest law enforcement agency, whitewashing the Establishments candidate and Witch Hunting the other candidate in a vain attempt to first fix one election and then drive the winner from office.

Much much much more investigation is needed and underway!
