    For you folks questioning the school's policy, from the article:

    The dress code for Mason High School does not state anything about political paraphernalia not being allowed.

    NEWS 10 found this: Clothing that displays alcohol, drugs, tobacco, gang association, weapons, sexual or suggestive references, profanity, violence, intimidation or organizations promoting any of these are not appropriate.

    And

    Paul Kato is originally from Nigeria.

    have to ask the mods why they gave us the warnings

    if everyone is allowed to use those 3 letters, fine, but all or none

    I like using them to describe people on the right too ;)

    I believe the warnings were for perceived insults to forum members, e.g., if I said your post reflected TDS.

    nope, mine was in reference to republicans in general, still have the quote, I was very careful not to say any member had that condition, I even used the word "some" to indicate not all fit that category

    Yet another story that demonstrates where women (particularly white women) actually sit on the progressive totem pole.

    That's why there's progressives in this thread trying to dismiss the incident.

    Alter the circumstances slightly, progressives would be like "toxic masculinity, patriarchy, racism, sexism", yada yada.

    You can’t say something about a particular group in general because some board members might be members of that group and that’s considered an insult. Kinda rough, but it is what it is.

    I got mine in Sept, I think it was happening a lot back then from both sides using those letter, have not seen them used much sense then

    yep, I don't care what the rules are as long as they apply to everyone equally, and the mods here do seem to be pretty fair in that regard

    I think what happens is someone from one side reports someone from one side, then they report people they see using it on the other side

    when mods get the reports, they have no choice but to address them, regardless of side

    Why is an unsubstantiated allegation by a 16 year old classified as an “incident” in the first place?

    For all we know he has told the student she was going to fail and this is revenge

    Teacher cites policy and threatens detention.

    Girl takes off political BS.

    Girl's parents start rumor that the teacher physically forced the removal and hires an ambulance chaser hoping for a payday.

    I'd bet money the above is what happened. lol
