Take CA, NY, Washington, Oregon, Vermont & Connecticut out of the popular election and you have trump winning by a massive landslide.
Cite please. Very weak deflection. When I ask for a cite, it doesn't mean what you type ends in a question mark.
Do you believe everything Rush Limbaugh tells you?? Do you believe everything Shawn Hannity tells you?? Do you believe everything you see on Fox News channel or CBN?
Non sequitur. I have a brain. Use yours. If you don't have a substantive rebuttal to my post, don't address me at all.
Liberals cannot seem to figure out that the burden of responsibility for supporting their claims rests with them. Of course, that means accepting personal responsibility. I'm aware of the allergies involved.
You hit the nail right on the head. Actually you are being very charitable in your description of Trump; IMO he's a congenital liar, an egotist, an obtuse, moronic, insipid moral blank of the highest caliber. I hope they nail him to the cross once the investigation is through.
I would re-phrase that if I were you by modifying your first sentence to say instead of one year to "another month". I don't think he'll last much longer since he's running out of lies to say each day, although i must admit he continues to surprise me everyday week.
BS - the media has become the political operatives of the D party. They are dishonest transactional journalists.
Trump won because of his economic message. He lost the CA vote because of the D policies of free stuff. CA does not share the same national values and understanding of the national history as other states do. Approximately 30% of CA residents are foreign born. And a an even higher percentage are 2nd and 3rd generation. Those that argue for a strictly total popular vote to decide the Presidential election are essentially arguing for the state of CA to decide close Presidential elections.
From what I have noted, the "Liberal Media" is mostly just reporting what Trump says and does while conservative media (Fox News) reports the relatively benign or easily spun things while adding their own positive commentary. The issue is not really that people make Trump look bad....it is that Trump makes Trump look bad.
They report on Trump showing extreme bias. That is obvious to anyone who takes the time to understand what is being reported. The latest is MSESPN.
You know you're right and I know I'm right; therefore both you and I will have to agree to disagree on this thread.
Though there are obviously personalities (Maddow comes to mind) that indeed show this extreme bias, it is in an editorial format that is easily distinguished from actual news. In my opinion the problems here are two fold. Certain media have adopted a format that combines editorial with fact and become light propaganda and our populace has lost the ability to recognize it. Added to this problem would be the "Fake News" phenomenon created by Trumpco that has literally removed the entire purpose of truthful data exchange from a large portion of our citizenry. Once people fall into this hyper partisan mindset they are not easily awakened from the hypnosis and often written off as simply gone.
Oh, don't be fooled, leftists have an economic plan, but they can't fully institute it without maintaining the presidency and the judicial appointment authority that accompanies it. Unfortunately for them, the means to those ends -- divisive Identity/Victim-Oppressor politics -- are no longer effective. The beautiful thing about it is they have no Plan-B....Identity/Victim-Oppressor politics is the very foundation of leftist politics.
Last time I checked, California is still part of the US. In fact, it is the largest economic power in the country. That said, if he can deliver on his promise to achieve 3 - 4 % economic growth after his first term he may win again in 2020.
