No they didn't, they said she'd win the presidency. You folks have been spewing this 'popular vote' nonsense ever since, but it was never the case. Same manufactured methodology. +7% Democrat, +8% women. Go figure you end up with an anti-Trump result. Those two items shift the results anywhere from 4-7% above and beyond the +/- that they pretend gives them legitimacy. Pathetic...
Your memory is failing you if you believe that the polls said she would win the Presidency. Say it with me, polls and models are different. As for your allegation of a problem with the methodology, I strongly encourage you to go by the average of the polls and the compare the average of the polls to the final results. In 2018, the average of the polls almost perfectly matched the outcome of the 2018 election. In 2016, the average of the polls under-reported Trump's performance by a whopping one percent.
That's what the whole intent of the polls, not to measure an insignificant and politically irrelevant idea like 'popular vote'. Since the presidential election has nothing to do with a national popular vote. Keep believing that stupidity, that's fine, just don't whine when Trump wins again. Broken methodology crosses over from one poll to the next, its the exact same thing we saw all throughout 2016. I'm ok with it actually, because manufactured polls give you liberal folks false hope, and this time it will cost you the House in 2020 along with Trump's re-election...
Democrats learned that the only day a poll matters is election day in 2016. They put that lesson into full force in 2018. And will continue to prove that they learned that lesson in 2020. Meanwhile, Republicans will need to defend their support for an impeached President who requested assistance from a foreign government against a domestic political opponent while he simultaneously and unilaterally withheld hundreds of millions in military aid and then took multiple steps to hide from the subsequent investigation.
So what is Trump's greatest domestic achievement? Is it the GOP tax cut that no one in the GOP wants to discuss? The illegal immigration which saw its highest mark in 13 years under his Presidency? The wall for which he has built precisely zero new miles? The healthcare plan for which he has not even remotely come close to revealing the details of which? What about his greatest international achievement? Was it saluting North Korean generals and promising to pay North Korea for the torture of an American citizen? Perhaps it was standing next to Putin and saying that he believed Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election? Perhaps it was his inability to get a single new trade deal ratified and enforced?
A landslide for who? As for Clinton, she won a landslide in the People's Republik of Kalifornia, and that's about it. Her margin of victory in CA was higher than it was in the entire popular vote by 1 million votes, and that's why we have an Electoral College in our republic. "We" meaning Leftists/Democrats. I disagree. The EC was set up to prevent a few heavily populated enclaves - most particularly urban enclaves - from dictating the outcome of every presidential election to the rest of the country. This also requires the winning candidate to obtain the broadest mandate possible from the electorate, which is a good thing. What Democratic presidential candidates need to do, as the moderates in the party suggested after Hillary's faceplant in 2016, is embrace a platform, agenda and policies that appeals to people beyond the far Left, but the DP is careening further towards the lunatic socialist (aka "progressive") fringe. Perhaps, those progs have forgotten what country they live and are campaigning in - this the United States of America, not Venezuela.
You folks haven't learned anything, you still pretend these manufactured polls represent something they don't. 2018 isn't what you people promised, it was nothing near it. Just more proof your side hasn't actually learned anything. There probably won't ever be an impeachment, every other time you folks whined about it, it fell through, no reason to believe this nonsense is any different. We know Schiff in on this from that start, and until we know more about this DNC operative acting as a whistleblower, there won't be any impeachment at all. This is just one more bad plot that is destined to fail.
Biden probably didn't have to, Ukraine probably did it to curry favors. FYI, Bush Jr got some sweet deals too.
It's like a snowball rolling down a steep hill. This one is for actual impeachment. The first time more think he should be impeached than not. Perilous times for Trump: By 45%-38%, Americans support impeaching him over Ukraine allegations, poll finds https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...gations-poll-finds/ar-AAId5Cr?ocid=spartanntp By a similar margin, 44%-35%, those surveyed say the Senate, which would then be charged with holding a trial of the president, should convict Trump and remove him from office.
Yes, he will. He will probably not get removed, unless Republicans turn on him... If Republicans Ever Turn On Trump, It’ll Happen All At Once
Asking the important question: Do we want to see the Nixon outcome for Trump or the Jack Kennedy outcome?
Oh he will be impeached. He may not be convicted, but if he isn't he will take some Republican't Senators down with him.
We want to see our democracy and the outcomes of free and fair elections respected not subverted by venal politicians and their supporters who want to steal what they couldn't earn.
Your wrong then if you have followed politics for any amount of time and you think any decision done in politics is about right and wrong.... Bush starting a fake war Obama droning civilians. This isn't about right and wrong it's about power
