But you are not really showing that — you are starting that people can be pressured into sexual action. You have not shown that sexual orientation changes.

Can you show any evidence that children being exposed to gay characters makes them gay? Or adults? By that admission should we not allow children to be around religious indoctrination?

Sexual preference can be effected by environment absolutely.

We both agree when observed that heterosexual individuals when they go into jail become homosexual for the time that they are there. but if they never leave the jail...

Now they would prefer to have heterosexual sex but when that's not an option they opt for homosexual relationships. happens all the time.

When I asked you if 100 women on an island all by themselves have never been introduced to the opposite sex how many would end up homosexual would it be a higher number than what we see naturally in society?

I'm going to guess that you're going to agree that it would probably be a much higher rate of homosexuality on that island.

So does environment affect preference or sexuality?

    Yes it can.

You said you could never physically have sex with a woman but then when I asked you about hypothetically dulling all your senses you would call it rape...but what would have happened is you would have had sex with a woman. So not physically impossible by any stretch of the imagination.

Now if we agree that environment can affect sexual preference I believe that we shouldn't be romanticizing being gay. There's no need to. You're not the optimal outcome I'm sorry to say. As long as you have all rights and are free to live your life and pursuit of happiness I don't give a f*** what you do in the bedroom.

But for society to perpetuate we don't need more gay people, we need less. We already cannot procreate how to replacement rate right now. We are there forced to supplement our population growth by immigration. Mass immigration and we are seeing the issues that that's causing.

So that means I think we shouldn't punish people for being gay and we should allow them every rights to go live their lives and pursue happiness but we shouldn't be encouraging it and we shouldn't be romanticizing it.

Did any Target employees actually get hurt or were they just scared by the anger expressed in the demonstrations?

I don't know what the state of understanding is regarding the genetic basis for homosexuality, but whether there is a gene or some set of genes that could be positively identified or not, I think the reality of people's feelings is apparent. Why do you choose to live in denial of it? You do understand that human beings do vary in all sorts of ways, don't you? That we're not all clones, and therefore other people are not exactly like yourself?

I saw recently, for example, that transsexuals have an identified difference in the brain. Those who identify as the opposite of their birth sex have brains that are more similar to those of the opposite sex.

There is no gay gene. It's a preference. Like ice cream flavors.

What you're forgetting is that gay people came from a heterosexual union. And, they are a part of a family unit. They even could have come from parent(s) who chose to put those little people stickers on their cars. Those little stickers celebrate family, not heterosexuality per se. And, of course, the arts (movies and music) are going to depict hetero romance and attraction because it is an integral part of the lives of the huge majority. But that is not the same as celebrating and plastering your sexual preference all over your clothing like this, for example.

    Target.png

I don't know any heterosexuals who wear shirts that say "Hetero, Hetero, Hetero" or "Sexually Attracted to the Opposite Sex."

It's nobody's business but you're own. And if you're going to wear trashy garbage like this, don't expect everyone to validate that choice with praise and respect.

But this isn’t influencing sexuality and definitely isn’t influencing sexual orientation. It would more akin to force than it would be to choice or preference.

As to me not being the “optimal outcome”, I have two children with my partner and together we run two small businesses that employ 19 people. One of our children were adopted from an abusive home ran by your “optimal outcome”.

Poll after poll show the reason people are not having children is because of stress and money issues. Too many gay people has never been mentioned.

You also haven’t shown how banning gay representation increases the number of heterosexuals much less increases birth rates.

    So many unfounded assumptions here

I am not aware of any violent acts but apparently employees were being screamed at both inside and outside the stores at numerous locations.

Wait, so you believe that heterosexuality is a big part of the lives of heterosexuals but homosexual isn’t a big part of the lives of homosexuals?

How incredibly laughable. Gay people adopt the child you people throw away. They also have children from other relationships or through surrogacy. They are just as much of a family as those stick figure families.

And? Did you have a point somewhere in this? No one is asking for your praise or respect — in fact it would likely be shunned looking at some of the views I have seen expressed.

Not liking something isn’t enough to have it banned or to threaten others

Oh it isn't? Growing up the population percentage that identified as LGB was capped out at roughly 5 percent. Now progressive dipshits have Gen Z which has that number now spiked to 20 percent. You think a healthy society that can procreate at a replacement level has 1/5th or greater now gay?

Also spare me your anecdotes. Same sex couples are far less likely to procreate then normal couples. And I use that term "normal" on purpose. Because for a same sex couple to procreate, they need outside assistance which either means they have to have sex the old fashioned way with a willing donor. Or they have to get inseminated. The likelihood of either is rather low. So let's not pretend a society that becomes more gay is a healthy one.

Maybe that's the point though? Maybe you've finally "progressed" our society into dying off?

I also haven't once said we should ban gay people. I said we need to stop romanticizing them. The gay flags...the ****ing parades...the month. Enough with the spotlight. You are gay. We need not have you scream this **** from rooftops anymore. Go. Live your lives and leave the heavy lifting of perpetuating society for us straight people who chose to have children. If we are ever going to romanticize a sexual preference, it should be the optimal one that will perpetuate and continue on our society.

Why do you need personal commentary when our thoughts are already reflected by the non-personal commentary included by the OP?

And in places that homosexuality is illegal they self assess at around 0%. It’s almost like as societies don’t try and force people to behave a certain way they are free to not live a lie.

As to the 20% of gen z identifying as LGBT, the vast majority of those are bisexuals and I can assure you that number is much much higher.

A society that allows people to be themselves is the healthy one. I am not trying to manipulate it one way or another.

And if LGBT people refuse your demand to disappear? That’s kind of you to say they should have rights but shouldn’t be visible.

Because this is a political discussion forum and I am curious. Do you have any other questions that I can help you with or are you going to dare risk it all and answer the question I asked.

A society that can replace itself through procreation is not a healthy one. Sorry. And while I would argue that the main reason for people not wanting kids mostly because women prefer to have careers as well as the cost...the reality is gay couples do not procreate. Or do so at a much lower rate then normal couples.

Nobody is asking you to disappear. But we don't need to celebrate your choices as to how you like to enjoy sex with flags and parades.

I never said that. You are taking my words and twisting them towards your own presumptions. Look ... I am talking about parades, public celebrations, and clothing that proclaims their sexuality. If they want "equality", then act like it. Just be what you are but leave the general public out of it. It's not my business to know, and it's not their business to tell me. I don't ask homosexuals to celebrate or validate my heterosexuality. So if they want "equality", don't expect me to celebrate or validate their homosexuality. It's really a pretty simple concept.

Committed gay couples do make family units. I don't have a problem with that.

If one does not wish to be shunned, then one should behave in a manner that is classy and respectful of others. I can think of two gay men I know who are perfect examples of that.

I agree with you 100%. I have already said that I'm not questioning the legal right to wear whatever you want, even if it's trashy. However, I have an equal legal right to think it's trashy and to voice that opinion.

By the way, you might want to tell "Not liking something isn’t enough to have it banned or to threaten others" to your left wing friends.

I appreciate a good debate and a good airing of views. You have continued to engage me. Cheers

Of knowing that there isn't a gene that controls preference?

    Ya.

And to be honest...you don't want there to be one anyways. It infers an abnormality or defect. Something that could theoretically be manipulated or switched off.

You can not like it all you want, that’s fine, I don’t like what religious places do to children but I will never say their symbols should be banned.

Because people have different opinions. And while I understand that some Republicans vote as a monolithic block devoid of their own nuance and thought it looks like that control is starting to splinter.

I am assuming you mean you are opposed to the “T” portion — and surgical procedures are very very rare. A pride flag does not mean that.

It is strange you are not protesting items in store’s associated with child molestation? I see religious symbols everywhere and they have a massive child rape issue.

Oh you don't get it. That's cute.

The more you shove this **** in people's faces the more hate and violence you will get as a direct result from your actions.

You really should push to not have so much of this exposure because it tends to make people...especially the religious ones. The ones that just mass migrated here...not like you.

You don't have to like that but that will be the reaction you are going to get as a result.

    Lol.

It's ironic isn't it? The very people we have to take in to suppliment our population because our domestic society can't reproduce at a replacement rate...are the same ones who don't want this gay **** shoved in their faces.

Oh I completely agree the far right is becoming unhinged and are a threat to others. I absolutely “get” that.

But thanks for your admission that you acknowledge that is the end goal here if you people don’t get your way. That you are laughing after promoting violence says a lot about your agenda.

    You should think on that.
