The Neo-Con version of the Tea party isn't the tea party, its controlled opposition from the establishment in DC

Thanks to you, we could have a 12 month but you would rather play politics. A 2 month extension is just plain stupid and shows how the Democrats cannot govern.

No Reid stopped it. it is the Democrats obstructing what needs to be done. Just like Obama stopped the job growth pipeline

I thought democrats claimed in years past SS is not a tax? Now it is?

You do realize this means you pay less into SS so it will lower your benefits when you retire. You still lose

You're Welcome (*)(*)(*)(*)(*), why don't you stop shorting your own retirement and passing the cost off on your kids?

The inexperienced Tea Party congressional members have tripped on some political land mines primed and set by the Democrats while your OG Republicans let them walk into the trap intentionally. So before the liberals start playing the blame game consider the Democrats have been kicking the can down the road for long enough.

Pardon the crudeness in my statement since I got off work and a little cranky but the senate needs to crap or get off the pot and what just happened the Democrats shat and left for the Republicans to clean it up.

I mean all the dems ran away from the table like the cowards they are and the OG Repubs are none the lesser.

No, we're just not irrationally opposed to doing so when we believe it's NECESSARY and/or JUSTFIED.

I'm not aware of a liberal pushing for a tax cut of any substance. Ever.

    Are you?

It is the Democrats who will not do this. They control the senate. Only a completely gullible Democrat hack wouldn't see this.

House repubs already passed their budget weeks before the Senate even began their processes. Why should they compromise on a half arsed bill when one was already made available for the Senate. The Senate passed their bandaid, then went home assuming the House would have to pass their bill. Maybe Reid's Dems should have been more focused on completing their work before leaving for vacation. Businesses attempting to grow need some stability from gov't in establishing tax code, that is what government is supposed to do! Are you giving them another pass on completing their jobs? This isn't the first time bandaids have been put on for a huge gaping wound called the American economy.
