When OJ was running for Buffalo, the QB was throwing for 800 yards per year and OJ was still winning games hand over fist. The guy couldn't be stopped. You get a team with a run-attack designed front line and a smash mouth FB and HB; and it doesn't matter if the other team puts 9 in the box. They are still gonna give up 5 YPC. Running just isn't sexy and won't get you 65 thousand people buying season tickets. I can agree the media gets into the race (and now gender) BS far to often, but the owners and coaches are far more interested in winning than the racial mix of their team. I highly doubt it was owners who decided to have women reports walking around the infield and pushing a microphone into the coaches face at half time either. But, whatever. If you want to really focus on the race thing, start with affirmative action & college recruiting, think you might find that interesting.
