Just had a skip read. Nothing new in it.

So why don't GW supporters stop buying plastic (or most goods) to reduce industry, stop using electric (just use light bulbs, phone and TV), dump their car and Chuck out the wood burning stove?

Is it because they want everybody else to do it but not them?

According to your report, what should you or I be doing at home?

Carbon taxes aren't going to hurt the rich one bit. The middle class on the other hand.....

Actually I always got the impression she was somewhat exaggerating the Oz accent.

The left drones on and on about global warming. And their only demand is for income redistribution. I thought the two were somehow linked.

Since I'm sure you blame man's C02 I would suggest your country starts reducing it's C02 output instead of increasing it as they have been.

That is probably why they sent their prisoners there, in elementary school James Oglethorpe is reported to have said when he set foot in Georgia, "it is unfit for human habitation."

OMG, we are all going to DIE!

Quick buy me a Zero FX so I can try and stop it before it is too late, write it off as a carbon credit.

You will find it turns out actually the same. A big pot of cream makes a block of butter, so if you ever see the cream being sold off much cheaper than a block of butter, buy it and whisk it. I then cut a lump off, quick 10s to 20s in the microwave and Bob's ya uncle.

Same with full fat milk; a pan, heat, thermometer, citric acid powder, a little rennet and you're good to go making cottage cheese and Mozzarella.

    Helps towards reducing waste.

In the last decade, the main contributors to emission growth were a growing energy demand and
an increase of the share of coal in the global fuel mix..... reducing the carbon intensity of) electricity generation is a key component of cost-
effective mitigation strategies in achieving low-stabilization levels....... the share of low-carbon electricity supply (comprising renewable energy (RE), nuclear and CCS)

So when are you going to ditch appliances to reduce electric demand to reduce what industry has to supply which will reduce fossil fuelled power stations.

So basically, back to my original post.

What do you think your study says?

So what part of “low carbon electricity supply” is difficult to understand?
    Wind farms are low carbon
    Solar is low carbon
    They even talk of nuclear

Don’t see anything about giving up electricity

BTW I have an allergy to picked cherries

    Think again

Unlike the right the vast majority of us are capable of complex cognition and can focus on more than one problem at a time

Correct, but what percentage of electric is generated by low carbon means?

How do you make sure you just use low carbon electric when you plug into the national grid?

Also, there's a carbon cost to low carbon production; if you still consume the amount of electric that you do, quarries have to dig the raw material to make the materials for the turbines etc.., industry has to convert these into the turbines etc.., carbon footprint in servicing/repairing them and after a limited time, we're back to square one because they have a shelf life. Now if the demand for electric was to fall because the pro GW clan started to ditch their appliances and went back to such things as a pantry with a stone shelf to replace the fridge and carpet beating to ditch the vacuum cleaner, then surely this is the way forward to combat GW? Not only would you not need the carbon footprint for fossil fuel electric, but you wouldn't need the much smaller carbon footprint of renewable energy electric. Or do pro GW'ists just want to reduce as opposed to eliminate?

    Roos eat grass,
Digesting grass casues roo's to fart,

What do's your OP prove? Australia isn't the globe. And as algorites like to say, daily temperatures isn't climate.
