Texas border wall construction underway, Gov. Abbott says

Send some drones in and wipe out the fields and homes of any drug lord and it’ll end quick. No point in living large and making money if you have to live in a basement. These guys aren’t religious nuts. They’re just greedy murdering scumbags. We know where they are. Why not just eliminate them the second they pop their heads up? It’s fast. It’ll be cheaper in the long run. But what will the Mexican govt do, when they lose all their budget money?

 

Abbott doesn't have the balls either. For years he has sat on his ass....not even attempted to do anything. He's only mimicking what Trump did to score political points, much like what DeSantis has done. If only either one of those guys made the first move then they would show they had a spine, instead of watching Trump and polls after the fact.

And yeah, the price tag is too high. There's way too much fluff and paybacks in this deal for that sum.

Come through the legal route, or you should be deported and barred further entry. Texas can't deport or bar, hence it convinces people to voluntarily be transported elsewhere so those people do not strain OUR housing, education, healthcare, etc.
They instead strain those resources in the states that just DEMAND that we allow them in. You do realize that state budgets are different right? That state resources are different?
