Exactly. I normally take the standpoint of, "I don't know" when it comes to things I am not 100% positive about and that doesn't have facts to support it in either direction. That seems like the only natural position to be in when you don't know something for sure. It is also why I generally claim agnosticism on the subject of God(s). (Although I have my own personal theories that I somewhat subscribe to as well.)

And yes, this was the only comment you made that was worth responding to. The only one that wasn't full of insults. But I really am concerned. Normally when I see people posting with anger and rudeness like that when they don't usually do it's because something outside the forums is bothering them...

Wrong question. What you should be asking yourself is, "Why do I see candid observations as mean and nasty?"

There is plenty of substance in my responses to you here, but your emotional investment in anti-theist views makes you allergic to it.

 

I have to agree with this post. I'm often abrupt in my posts as well, but people get fixated on my tone in order to avoid dealing with the substance. I could start a thread about how Jesus was not a nice guy if I had more time, but I don't. Just suffice to say, all too often nice gets in the way of truth.

Young lady, I never called you an idiot; and if that's not clear enough, rest assured that I know you're NOT an idiot - which I am not convinced of as regards several of the "Christians" in these parts. Still, an intelligent person cannot help but post like an idiot in the stubborn defense of self-evident falsehoods.
