No, already explained what else they have and even added a link to their inventory. The best aircraft in their 'air force' are the Brazilian propeller planes. They have 19 of them. The rest are Cessna's and other trainer aircraft and a bunch of Soviet era choppers. You think they can sell those back to Russia too? Then they have utility helicopters, some of which are US made, like 10 Hueys (introduced 1950s) and 16 Black Hawks (introduced in 1970s). Nothing the Russians don't already have.

Sure seems that way. Well, you do have something, - you have the desire to see this end as badly as possible.

So, the Brazilian plane is their most lethal weapon, and this light weight US made chopper is probably #2 (below). Neither is any match to any fighter jet from the past 60 years. They don't have jets and they don't have attack helicopters like the Apache. They have no stealth aircraft, or heavy bombers Where do you get the claim that they have the "latest US technology"?

No, they don't. They went to central bank, only to realize that the nations reserve cash ($10B) is held in NYC and had been frozen. The Taliban is expected to be broke within months.

Try around 45 Blackhawks and 50 MD 500s or MD 530Gs. And by the way, it doesn't matter when they were made. The US Army converted their Blackhawks to glass cockpits years ago and will continue to upgrade their platforms over purchases. I should know. I flew them. Your attempt to make them out to be Army surplus is laughable.

You have been trying to downplay this disaster since day one. Just like your post about aircraft lost. So don't be pointing fingers at others when they provide the accurate information. Which has the appearance that you would prefer to play this down for political reasons no matter how many Americans are killed.

Those Blackhawks have the latest ILS technology with glass cockpits. No more old gauges.
    External Stores Support System
    Encrypted IFF recognition system
    APR-39 radar warning receiver
    ALQ-144 infrared countermeasures system
The newest version of the General Electric T700-GE-401C turboshaft engines
    New technology crashworthy fuel tanks
    The latest Hellfire missile system
2.75 FFAR (folding fin aerial rocket) and pods
    FIM-92 Stinger anti-air missiles
Hover IR suppression system (HIRSS) that is designed to cool engine exhaust gasses while hovering and in forward flight

And by the way, your 1970s Blackhawk isn't even close to what they have, The UH-60A entered service with the US Army in 1978. Production of the new UH-60L began in 1989 with the conversion of existing UH-60A aircraft to the "L" standard as well as the production of new airframes. The first UH-60L was delivered in November 1989.

So much for old retired Hueys, huh

What is the possibility they could use them and maintain them? I wouldn’t think much. It appears the Taliban is about to launch a fierce campaign against Afghan resistance fighters. I hope the resistance destroys the Taliban.

I don't have political reasons, - YOU do. I said Biden should resign if US citizens are left behind, while you are trying to make it sound like these guys have latest US military secrets like stealth bombers and Raptors, when they simply DO NOT. Hellfire missiles are not secrets, and we have sold them to at least 16 other countries. Hueys are not secrets, and neither are black hawks, or their most priced possession, the Brazilian propeller planes.

Why would they? They didn't do it last time round. Look at them. They have been living in caves for 20 years and it shows. Who brought them to power? We did. We ran out of patience and left, while they had nowhere else to go.

When you have to depend on exaggerations to make your point, the point is lost.

More exaggerations? Stealth bombers and Raptors are not secrets. What does that even mean? For someone who knows NOTHING about military hardware and the clearances needed just to learn their guidance systems or how to fire them, you sure make a lot of worthless generalizations.

While you are trying to play it all down, the world NATO allies know better and so does every military service member active and retired. Your self proclaimed expertise on this subject speaks for itself

    10 Hueys from the 1950s
16 Black Hawks from the 1970s
Nothing the Russians don't already have
The Brazilian plane is their most lethal weapon
Where do you get the claim that they have the "latest US technology
sound like these guys have latest US military secrets like stealth bombers and Raptors

You have no clue what you are talking about or you are knowingly trying to play it down with your exaggerations.

That's my point about you posting like a drama queen, but at least you admit that the point it lost when you resort to it.

I said Hueys were introduced in the 50s and black hawks in the 70s. This is not a new tech treasure trove you pretend it to be.

If the Afghans were ever given or sold technology deemed too sensitive to be allowed to fall into Russian or other adversarial hands, then that was a boneheaded move. Even if the government had stood, there was no guaranteeing that such technology would not find its way to any of the bordering countries without our knowledge or consent. Afghanistan was never a stable enough power and ally for that.

You mean like we have done for every American ally since the beginning of time? Don't you think its a bit late for whining about that? Are we going to disarm all of our allies now?

If we didn't have a dementia patient as president, those assets would have been destroyed or evacuated.

As I said and you apparently ignored, Afghanistan was never a stable enough power and ally for that. It's not the same as sharing that kind of tech with more stable countries. Afghanistan was an experiment more than an ally.

That's probably why they didn't risk leaving any jets, bombers stealth fighter or high tech stuff behind.

They got the 19 Brazilian propeller planes and stuff like this:

Definition would be posting accurate information that shows how far off base you actually are and how clueless you are on our military aircraft and systems.

Which explains even after your were shown that idea isn't valid, your comprehension is whats flawed. There are NO 1970s Blackhawks ANYWHERE in the world.
Does that clear it up for you?

The first UH-60A Blackhawk was delivered to Ft Rucker for training in 1983. I was there. You weren't.
Now try and keep up if its even possible
The newer UH-60L was delivered in 1989 and all previous UH-60A aircraft were upgraded to the L model. That includes engines, glass cockpits and weapons.
Now take it slow because this is going to get more difficult for you
Since that time all UH-60L have been transitioned to our latest weapons, IR, and self defense platforms in our inventory.

According to you, since the F-16 and the F-18 Hornet came out in 1974 and 1976, they all must be old 1970s technology.

Find another thread. Your way out of your league here.

Which would mean a president with more than average mental capacity would have known the importance of evacuating or destroying such equipment before leaving.

If you don't know the meaning of the word "introduced", then why not just google it? Please....don't embarrass yourself like this.

Disarm our allies and leave.......? You think it would have been a good idea to train & arm them for 20 yrs and then disarm them before leaving....?

Don't even try that bullshit. Now you're just backtracking. You know why you (TWICE) insisted they were 1970s introduced, NOTHING THE RUSSIAN DON"T ALREADY HAVE.
But you go ahead and tell that BS. Its on the boards for everyone to see. You're just making a fool out of yourself. Thats all.

Yeah, when the president and military leader flees the country and 46 US aircraft are being used by 600 Afghan soldiers to run away, a president without declining mental capacities would make the proper decision. But I am more than sure you would leave them because Russia already has them. :roflol:

No, I said when they were introduced, and you kept re-wording my posts in order to misrepresent them. Dishonest.

Heck, if you want to think this is a treasure trove of top secret military tech, then so be it.

Don't be disappointed if things dont turn out as bad as you hope.

    Carry on corporal!

Speaking of dishonest, I guess it just somehow escaped your mind that you said 1970s introduced, nothing that Russian doesn't already have.
Now your taking you own post out of context to call me dishonest?
I'll let that speak for itself.

You would think US Army helicopters are flow by Corporals, huh.

And remember, those Muslims flying planes we left there don't HAVE to be able to land them to get to go to Islamo-heaven -- just so long as they used those planes to kill INFIDELS!
