While there is a LOT of difference between Democrats and Republicans regarding work, wealth, and the freedom to live one's own life unmolested by a smothering, "Nanny-state" government, it is true that both Democrats and Repubicans are complicit in keeping the horribly unfair U. S. Tax Code largely intact for decades.

The Tax Code is the most blatant example of unfairness to all who actually work and actually pay taxes -- because of all the loopholes, shelters, exclusions, exemptions, deductions, and other fun features, like "carried interest" that heavily favor the wealthy. Typically, the tax code isn't of a great deal of interest to many liberal Democrats, though, because a lot of them get handout welfare and "subsidies" (another word for 'welfare') from the government, and, many don't pay any personal income taxes at all....

So, both "fat cat" Republicans AND "limousine liberal" Democrats laugh all the way to the bank, and neither bunch of them ever really plans to REALLY change the tax system! If you're in the helpless American middle-class, YOU'RE the poor schmuck paying the most on a percentage basis in personal income taxes, because the poor don't pay, and the rich never have to pay a 'fair share' -- thanks to the expertise of their armies of tax attorneys in playing the U. S. Tax Code like a piano....

2. Lyndon Johnson - Bankrupted Social Security, conspired to kill Kennedy. Ruined national budget fighting Viet Nam. Murdered Millions. Introduced Welfare.
3. George W Bush - Put US under martial law by enacting Patriot Act, nullifying what was left of the Constitution.
4. George Soros - Undermines US citizens and Constitution by pushing globalist corporate agenda, and the elimination of US self determination.
5. Harry Truman - Allowed military industrial complex to take over US foreign policy after WW2
