    Nowhere did I claim it did. The simple fact of reality remains, the US is a single sovereign nation, made up of states.

    Back to square 1. Federal law supersedes state law. You are a US citizen, not a Texas citizen (or whatever state you reside). This is because we are a single sovereign nation, made up of states.

    Does federal law supersede state law? Is your citizenship US, or Texan (or whatever state you reside)?

    the answer to both those questions shows you we are a single sovereign nation, made up of states. This is reality, and will not stop being reality no matter what your whacky libertarian buddies have told you.

    The constitution and laws made pursuant are the supreme law of the land.

    So that's probably the third time I've answered this question of yours.
    "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. "
    I challenged you to point to the language in the constitution that declares the US a nation. You have failed. That's okay. I knew you would.

    It doesn’t have to. It doesn’t say “ruger 556” or “emails” either, but it’s still a protected right via the second amendment.

    the simple, obvious reality is that the US is a sovereign nation. And you know that.

    Just like no constitutional language protecting our right to own a glock 19. Or your 4th amendment right to have your emails protected from search without a warrant etc.
