The problem is both the government and big money interests. What good is a corrupt government when it comes to the interests of the people? Our society seems to accept these things.

One problem with obesity is that eating healthy is more expensive. The food that is bad for you is also the cheapest. If healthy food was more in demand then the free market would produce more of it. Instead, deep fried everything is in great supply because it is what people want.

And if you don't want socialized medicine and it happens, move to Singpore, as one of your own said, it has one of the most free market economies in the world.

You sound like a left. The left has been arguing all this big money going to campaigns is wrecking the political system. CU was a joke but was cheered by you group of RWers as money is free speech. As long as big money can bribe elected officials, free speech, the people will not get a fair shake. Welcome to the left.

Why don't you read what is written, instead of making stuff up.

Read what you wrote? What is the difference between what you make up and what others make up?

What's interesting is that conservatives are the ones who are okay with free care. Hospitals are forced to care for uninsured that need urgent care. When conservatives argue against an individual mandate, what does this result in? FREE CARE. Millions of uninsured have been running to ERs for decades, getting free care at the expense of tax payers.

Why did the heritage foundation once demand an individual mandate? because they wanted to stop the nonsense of people refusing to pay in and demanding free care.

We either decide of 3 systems:

    1. Everyone chips in via taxes (medicare for all), everyone gets access to affordable care. NO FREE CARE
    2. Everyone chips in via private insurance (individual mandate), everyone gets access to affordable care. NO FREE CARE
    3. People choose not to pay insurance or taxes but then CANNOT, under no circumstances, get care they can't pay for, even it means their death. NO FREE CARE

#2 will never make care affordable for everyone. We know that #3 WILL NEVER exist in the USA, EMTALA would need to be repealed. This leaves us with #1 or #2 which conservatives don't like but this proves another point, conservatives don't want to be pragmatists.

    From your sig:
I have proven your opinion doesn't relate to facts. Making most things you say insignificant due to credibility reasons.

What answer? You cannot even give a thoughtful response because you are in attack mode. Read Mike's posts for a good example of a thoughtful response.

Human history shows very clearly that government is rarely very good at managing anything.

I suppose if one thinks being black is the worst, and obama being black, that would make him the worst president ever.
But if one were to take his record on economy and other presidential functions. He ranks at least in the top 15.
In the ranks of economics, he ranks right behind Clinton and just ahead of Reagan at #2 of the last 6 presidents.

    The race card? Really?

Obama's numbers on the economy is nothing but spin. In reality he did very little to improve anyones life. Just because the msm media claims something it is not a fact.

So everyone is not entitled to healthcare? Then why all the whining about it?

Well, the Republican Party establishment certainly agrees with you.

"House Speaker John Boehner offered *unqualified praise* for President Obama’s handling of the war on terrorism on Thursday, a day before a major foreign policy address by GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney. Boehner was *effusive* in complimenting Obama, even comparing the Democrat favorably to his Republican predecessor." http://thehill.com/homenews/campaig...bamas-war-on-terrorism-ahead-of-romney-speech

Get this right. The OP doesn't claim that free markets cannot manage healthcare, this is a straw man. The OP claims free markets cannot manage affordable healthcare. This may seem subtle but its a very important ommision thay makes your claim a candidate for a straw man argument.

I guess it is easier for some folks to discuss a sig rather than the topic at hand.

What whining? Keep in mind, I'm not going to give you an answer 3X every time you post a question.

Sorry, but I could not think of any other reason why one would think he's the worst prez ever.
    https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2016-09-06/how-obama-s-economic-record-stacks-up
This article puts him at average. And GWB, your hero, as the worst.
So enlighten us, how you say the worst ever, when this article says he's average while bush is the worst ever.
