You see a staged rig and jump to concluding that US is no longer producing oil.

Me, I look at facts and figures, like this one showing we are producing quite nicely, and now that price is higher, they will produce even more because its more profitable.

And this one showing when the boom started.

It is actually not surprising considering how bad last year was, and that oil price has been so low that production was not profitable. You think frackers liked low oil prices, but the exact opposite is true, - they HATE it. Even your boy understood this and threatened Saudis to cut production in order to make oil more expensive. Saudis wanted low prices to make US production unprofitable. Now the prices are higher and frackers are happy, and you......well, you do what you always do, - you complain.

Either way, production is humming, and if oil price stays at this level, they will produce even more. After all, its about making money, is it not?

Low price was a big concern in 2019

Can Fracking Survive at $50 a Barrel?
    https://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/072215/can-fracking-survive-60-barrel.asp
In 2011, crude oil was trading at nearly $120 per barrel on the NYMEX. High oil prices were sustained until mid-2014, when prices crashed from $100 per barrel down to less than $50. While consumers rejoiced at lower gas prices, oil and gas producers scrambled to stay profitable.

At $120 per barrel, fracking is a very profitable business. At lower prices, companies are forced to weigh the cost of expensive fracking compared to less expensive extraction methods.

According to Reuters, estimates put the break-even point for fracking at around $50 per barrel, but other estimates put it as low as $30 per barrel. This $30 per barrel figure is much lower than the total cost per barrel more widely published, but there is an important distinction between the estimates that put fracking costs at the $50 per barrel range.

Bet you also wear a mask driving alone in your car with the windows up based on the fear mongering around Covid. The fear mongering around climate is just as insane. Bet you don’t even know what the fear mongering is based on.

I believe in truth and the truth is gasoline went to $3.01 today and under Trump it was under $2. That is a fact.

I have no idea what point you are making right now? What fear mongering? Are you talking about the limited fossil fuels remaining? Or the problems that arise from overpopulation? Or the fear mongering surrounding nuclear power?
