I usually vote Republican in Presidential elections but it is disheartening to see the GOP slide into idiocy with candidates that would rather spout off about family values and anti-abortion and religion rather than discuss our problems.

Now the Democrats have made the same mistakes in their own ways as instead of trying to discuss the issues they instead sink to talking about what is bad in the GOP candidate and the GOP does the same thing as well.

I hope one day this idiocy will end but I think that PEOPLE will have to grow up a bit.

The GOP has evolved. They've basically become Liberals. The debate platforms are not really debates, just platforms for talking points.

The American Public will no longer elect an Ultra-Right wing conservative.

The GOP must become more liberal on social issues and stay conservative on fiscal issues.

Are you kidding me? This is America we are talking about. This is the land where young hotties blowing teenage boys is punishable by hard time, men are actually women, and offending people is punishable by incessant wailing from a blue-haired fatty.

And don't you forget how god feels about homosexuals!

    Pick your poison.

Strong men who don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) need to take this country back from the weaklings and idiots who are currently dominating the discussion. We need to bring back swirling and wedgies BIG TIME.

Because Jesus was into doing violent butt-related stuff? I missed that part of the Bible.

    I agree.

    Sure you do.

Trump demolished Hillary with Millennials in Pennsylvania

Trump ended up winning 81,640 Millennial vote. Clinton got a paltry 33,660 Millennial votes.

People usually belong to one party or the other because they agree pretty much with their political philosophy. Normally a person doesn't agree with their party or candidates 100% of the time although on a site like this, it seems they do.

I think the Republican Party needs to realize there are some fights they are bound to lose. It would be better if they chose not to fight those fights. But a lot of folks on the right do not look at it that way. Abortion has been legal for 40 years now and yet a lot of Republicans want to continue that fight. It is a loser. Gay marriage is now legal, to fight it is also to fight a losing cause.

If those things are against your religion, fine. Do not get an abortion or do not marry someone of the same sex. When morals are enforced by law, look at prohibition. That didn't work out too well. It is time to move on. Most Americans are fiscal conservative and socially liberal. Both parties could and should take that into consideration.

Yeah, this year the candidates have acted like immature elementary school kids then someone running for the highest office in the land. The bad aspect of this it seems a lot of people eat that up. Perhaps that is what we raised, a bunch of immature 20's and 30's somethings.

    Yes I do.

The current numbers have Clinton ahead by quite a bit.

Now that does not mean the numbers can't change because they probably will.

But Clinton is currently well ahead.

The thing is the people that eat that up are just a tiny percentage of the population.

If the GOP want's to win they MUST get the Moderate Swing Voters as these voters will determine who win's.

And the vast majority of American's are sick to death of listening to a GOP candidate go on about family values, religious ideology and abortion.

If the GOP does not evolve they will lose and continue to lose.

Huh. I was unaware that the general election had started and Trump was running against Clinton. Guess I was too preoccupied about Hispanic-men-dressed-as-women-in-hijabs-trying-to-pee.

I was making fun of religion.

    I am an atheist.

Of course they are. I've never met feminist male who has been anywhere near a female sexual organ, though they've been around plenty of the male variety.

Exactly. The old curmudgeons need to be shut down and get some perspective. Guys like Milo, Gavin Mcinnes, and Joe Rogan are what the future of the party needs to look like, not John McCain and Lindsey Graham (*shudders*)

True, but there is a small chance that something catastrophic (yuuuuge terrorist attack, another market crash, etc) could upset the apple cart and give Trump kind of a (still tiny) chance.

Find it telling that all the Trump boosters on the PoFo have declined my bet. I take Hillary, they take Trump, and loser leaves this wonderful site for a year. Surely, if they really believed their own cheerleading, they'd seize the opportunity to get rid of 50% of the "those people" here.

Trump will probably do amazingly well with young Democrat voters. It will likely be stunning. You could be really really surprised at what a draw he is. Poor Hillary, she is fat, ugly, corrupt, a war monger, and nobody really likes her. Her rallies are really flat, people look bored and yawn a lot. Especially millennials. They don't even look like they want to be there.

Trump's only chance is to win the nomination and then switch to a moderate position.

The GOP remade itself back in 1968 and remade itself again in 1980.

The neoconservatives took control of the RNC back in the late 1990's.

They blew it. especially after the American voters gave the Republicans both houses of Congress when the GOP promised to defund Obama's unlawful executive amnesty. The neo-cons had their chance and lied, did nothing and what you're seeing today with Trump is the remaking of the GOP.

Too late. Unfortunately................video and audio. Just ask 47% Romney. The Dems will flood the air with reminders of what he has said captured on video. He'll deny it but..................reality has a well known liberal bias.

Yeah. She won this poll by 110 votes.

    http://www.suffolk.edu/documents/SUPRC/4_25_2016_marginals.pdf

But there is no real excitement. She doesn't draw the crowds she generates no genuine excitement. But then she is fat ugly corrupt and has no talent. She's... well she is Hillary.

Well that is possible but Trump is sometimes crazy.

He could very well bury the GOP.

No, the GOP has not become "Liberal"... it has his the inevitable BRICK WALL, constructed via its intransigence and extremism (even bigotry and racism); they've gone to the outer-reaches of 'sanity'... as they've migrated WAY TOO FAR to the 'right'. They aren't simply "conservative' anymore... they're more like fascists, which in LARGE part explains much of Trump's appeal.
