There isn't a single claim of starvation in gaza. Not one.
there is a recognition of high food insecurity which is significantly different that starvation.
There is a description of appallling living conditions and a total economic clustermuck.
There is mention of a shortage of medical supplies, it seems it depends on the NGO and how much overlap there is in mandates, but OCHA seems to think that after the truce, shortages are being alleviated.

From what I can discern from comparative health statistics, gaza is way way way better off than any other third world poverty stricken place, with decent life expectancy, good infant mortality rates, and surprisingly enough access to advanced health care. They also have way better education stats.

Its still a hell hole to live in. the economy is in the crapper, and 80% of the people are reliant of NGO aid simply to survive. Sanitation is dismal as well.

What I was not aware of was the "buffer zone" imposed by Israel around the borders that has effective shut off a substantial chunk of arable land. Those farmers getting shot apparently were violating the "no go zone", which they obviously knew they were doing, but it ain't a reason to shoot them for simply trying to grow food.

Now, from an Israeli persective, the blockade has been squeezing hamas and the people who elected them very badly. I think they view it as collective consequence as opposed to collective punishment. But will its real objective of making the people so frustrated with no jobs, little food, deplorable living conditions that they get rid of hamas? I am pessimistic, meaning that its going to come to a head in some other fashion, and I fear its going to be a seriously bloody one.

As for your non-reply, you're going to have to come up with some new material. I have demonstrated time and again that I do not equate people who oppose land theft or murder by jews to be jew haters. Yet, I hear the same old refrain from you even when you know that I oppose land theft and recognize some lethal violence against palestinians as murder.

Yes, I am familiar with the criticisms of Israeli school cirriculum and it's depiction of arabs.
An education system has a mandate of indoctrination of national and social values. this can be seen in both Israeli and Palestinian courseware. Because of this, there are critics and supporters on both sides, essentially using the same criteria to evaluate what each education system is teachin their kids.
