Are they Uber partisan or did they just not want Clinton to win? If you were to look at a map a lot of the rural areas flip...or have Dems in the senate, house or other office. I’m curious when LA or NYC ever did

 

We will have to wait for Puerto Rico or DC to try for statehood and then the only compromise available for balance in the Senate will be to carve small Republican States out of large blue ones so that 2 or 4 GOP senate seats offset the 2 or 4 democrat seats if one or both become states. There is no way PR or DC get majority or 60 votes for statehood without an offset like that. Jefferson will be ready when PR or DC want statehood.

Pull up a map of when Bill Clinton or Gore was running. I do not think the picture will look any different.

It's not their fault! They have been brainwashed by the MSM. They literally think a maga hat is the same as a kkk cloak and that people voted trump because they don't like black people, when in reality, most conservatives vote with their wallets. Don't hate them! Most of them are young idiots who think its the "cool" thing to hate on Trump. When you only have ONE news station in the entire country that isn't anti-trump, this is to be expected. They will come around. It might take a gang of MS-13 members raping their kids or a few dead bodies, but eventually, they will come around.

 

No gift. Just leverage. As long as there are at least 41 Republicans in the senate there is no way DC or PR will ever achieve statehood without some deal like this. There is historical precedent for bringing territories to statehood while maintaining balance in the senate and there is precedent for small states separating from bigger ones such as Maine from Massachusetts, Vermont from New York, and West Virginia from Virginia. So for people in Jefferson or PR it may seem a gift but for everyone else it will be status quo.

 

Actually it is true. The right disagrees with the left but we don’t hate them.

 

The point is that it is now obvious that we can no longer believe what media tell us to believe.
