And with respect to the title of this article. I have said here more than once that Biden is Jimmy Carter redux. Now CNN sees this as well.

Trump was in charge therefore he made the decision to announce a national health emergency and shut down the federal got. the governors were following his lead.

 

Very few Governors followed his lead...or his advice. They made their own decisions and some of them made really bad decisions.

 

I see you have never been a governor with a national health emergency in place.

 

So if we go back and look at post history, we'll see you posting about being against shutting down the economy? Somehow I doubt that.

When talking about covid: We must shut down and remain shut down regardless of what it does to the economy.
When talking about Trump: Trump destroyed the economy in 2020 and is solely to blame.

I was against shutting down the economy, the worst move ever made by a sitting president. You seem to have a very bad habit of trying to pigeonhole humans, too bad for yous.

 

Biden is a bad politician. You have a good chance to beat him in 2024 if you don't run Trump.

 

If they hadn't restricted businesses selling in-person services in early 2020, our hospitals would have been overrun and people with a heart attack would have denied care. Healthcare workers would have dropped like flies or quit.

It was essential to restrict businesses selling in-person services in early 2020 to prevent hospitals being overrun with covid patients. Once vaccines were available, we could have eased restrictions. The key was not causing a collapse of the healthcare system.

 

Then Trump is responsible for shutting down society and making the economy flatline?

 

Really so reduce our standard of living for 40 years to prepare us for Joe Biden?

We have plenty of energy in this country! Because of technology we can access that energy and use it cleaner.

Carter was going to replace fossil fuels with what? Not nuclear. All he wanted to do back then was make us poorer. His entire energy plan was for us to use less. He even made it illegal to buy gas on Sundays the worst policy ever.
