Liz Cheney has survived the vote. Nothing done about Green.......leaving it for the Dems to deal with........and then blame them when they do.

This has the qualities of a blood sport. A vast Trump influence looms over many in the GOP.

Liz Cheney to keep her leadership position after tense GOP meeting

You ever said anything derogatory about any woman, ever?

Are you aware of every charitable act Trump committed? How do you know you've done more?

    Let's not judge.

What charitable things are you referring to?? Narcissists and sociopaths are not charitable to anyone.......unless it serves their purpose.

His verbal cruelty and lack of civility was astounding. Now he has a Trumpian firmly installed in the GOP. Her claim to fame is being a believer and promoter of conspiracy nonsense But it is trumpian........and those that are still hung up on Trump approve. They have 22 in their sites and think they will regain the majority . It is all about power........any governing for the people.is purely accidental

You see Trump has no respect for anyone, He is a racist, He's a sexist, and anything else He'll say derogatory things to the others. I despised what Trump says and does. I'm too different because I judge by content of character. I have much better respect for gender and race, creed etc.
I hope the Republican party can recover from Trump. Republicans will lose the fear of Trump eventually.

You mean the same El Saud that Donnie Peachs sold a a hundred billion or so in weapons to? That same El Saud?

Still obsessed with Obama. Gotta luv how he and hillary still live in MAGA heads. Its a gift that keeps on giving, a sort of mental masturbation.

That's the one .. Brother El Saud - but what is your point - other than to name call and divert attention away from the fact that Obama was a much bigger warmonger than Trump...

Kind of hard to have a convo that compares A) Obama with B) Trump .. without discussing A.. Such a lame attempt at hiding from reality .. reality you know is True.

Obama the war criminal - and guilty of crimes against humanity .. Ouch .. not a tag one likes to have in the history books - as an Obama Devotee...

Or a Biden Devotee for that matter.. and Joe was there too was he not ? or is it that Joe is not relevant either - and we will just go the next 4 years chanting "Bad Trump" and projecting our flaws onto others and name calling.

Is this the kind of "mental circle jerk" you are referring to ? - I have seen this beast I tell you true .. by more than one ... let it not be you.

and always remember - My arguments against Trump are way better than yours..

It did not go unnoticed that in all that verbiage, you failed to answer a simple yes/no question.

    Judge not ....

Look it up. But more importantly, don't ever hold yourself higher than another person unless you know absolutely everything -- good and bad -- that they have done.

Trump wasn't a war monger because he was a coward like all bullies are. Hell he didn't even know how to fight a successful easy trade war or two. And every American President has been a war criminal, if you haven't noticed, even Donnie Peachs. go figger.

I am glad your arguments are better. Every little bit helps to scub off the stain.

I'm surprised they didn't censure Majorie Taylor Greene on her comments of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to endorse Pelosi's assassination. Has there ever been an assassination of standing Speaker of the House? I found out that there were 15 congress reps that have been assassinated in office compared to 4 Presidents that were assassinated in Office. The four were Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, William McKinley, and John F. Kennedy. Greene could be a Trump follower and I wouldn't be surprised if she actually was.

While it may be true that some presidents have been war criminals .. it is certainly not "Every American President' - and some were definitely worse than others. Obama much worse than Trump for example - mind you Obama had more time.

What is rare however - or may even be a first - is that the fellow coming into office is already a war criminal !

Call this one a Biden First ?

I don't really know why the Republicans selected Trump as their candidate for President in 2016 but I realize that it a wrong choice and they should have known it. Trump can and will ruin anything or anyone that gets in his way.

Hear ye Hear ye, Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Green has been removed from all of her committee assignments. The House voted and have spoken.
Marjorie Taylor Greene liked a comment that said "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the "deep state" working against Trump. What if someone texted and made a comment that "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green or Ex-President Donald Trump? Maybe some ought to say something like that. You don't say something like that when it comes to House Speaker Pelosi or anyone else. That's all I'm going to say for now. Maybe more later.

Good. If the R's won't hold their own accountable, then it had to happen this way. She did her part in inciting violence to elected members. Many don't seem to understand that freedom of speach means ......freedom of RESPONSIBLE speach. Words have power and influence.

Seems that she is a bit unhinged. In her speach today.....she was still inclined to blame others and project onto others. She expressed no regret for her inflammatory speach. A true Trumpian- blame everyone but herself.

You offered a nasty opinion, not "facts," though I imagine you never met him nor ever spent any extended period of time with him. If so, your opinion is not creditable. At least yours is a popular opinion. Which is good, if you value popularity.

Speech. "Speach" is not a word.
The right to make a statement is not limited by someone's opinion of how "responsible" it is to make that statement.

If you're offended by this, I am sorry about that. This is what Trump said. It came from Donald Trump. I'm just telling what Trump said. Will Rogers never Donald Trump and neither have I. I don't like Trump any more than you do. Trump was a terrible President. simple as that.

Sure for "wrong-thought" an "bad-think". Those are both "felonies" according to fake news Lefties.

Deal with your own nutburgers, then come talk to us about ours.

Greene, like AOC, believes and says crazy things, yet she was elected to Congress by a couple hundred thousand Georgians. But so was Democrat Rep. Hank Johnson, who represents Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District in Atlanta’s eastern suburbs. Johnson, who was reelected in November to an eighth term, compares Jewish Israeli settlers to termites and, in a bizarre 2010 exchange in the House Armed Services Committee, speculated about the possibility that Guam might tip over and capsize from the weight of too many U.S. Marines deployed there.

Before Johnson, that seat was held by six-term Democrat Rep. Cynthia McKinney, a 9/11 conspiracy theorist who in an April 2002 radio interview claimed the Bush administration received numerous warnings before the attacks, and that the Bush family might have even allowed them to happen for profit. Before that, McKinney claimed there had been widespread voter fraud in Florida during the 2000 presidential election and that Al Gore had really won. She joined a handful of other House Democrats in objecting to the certification of the Electoral College vote, and did so again four years later, objecting to the electoral votes from Ohio.

Republicans never called for McKinney to be stripped of her committee assignments or be expelled from Congress, as Greene now faces from House Democrats for views she held prior to being elected. Instead, McKinney was primaried by another Democrat in 2002, punished not by the media or by the opposing party, but by voters in her own district. (She challenged her primary loss in court, claiming thousands of Republicans had voted in the Democratic primary, but presented no evidence of voter fraud and lost the case. Amazingly, she was reelected in 2004.)

Sometimes crackpots get elected to Congress. But the proper remedy is for their constituents to vote them out of office, not for their fellow lawmakers to do an end-run around voters.

Some day Dems should study the Constitution that is the bedrock of our Liberal Democracy.
