    No former President in modern history has been discovered with classified documents in their personal possession before.

    Comey said he couldn't prove deliberate mishandling, which would have been required for a criminal conviction.

    Petraeus and Sandy Berger were both convicted.

    No, it doesn't. As many, many, man people have already pointed out. There's more to the process, first of all, then just the president snapping his fingers and declaring them declassified. Second of all, it is illegal for official documents to still be in his possession even if they were declassified.

    It's quite funny people talking about others blindly following poltical gods or just a leader in general.
    Since most who make that claim and are blindly following trump.

    Obama took some 30 millions documents when he left the WH and you're going to tell me none of them were classified? No other president in history has been as harassed as Trump.

    I'm sure there IS a process as you describe, and most likely it was followed. The larger point I think is that POTUS does not need permission to change classification.

    No one is saying that he needs permission.

    We are saying that he didn't declassify anything. If he did there would be a record of it, and there isn't.

    None of the people claiming he desclassified these documents are providing any evidence to back up that claim.

    It is a waste of everyone's time.
