    That weapon appears woefully outdated. However they may be training in improvised or found weapons. So more context is needed.

    I assume you meant to insinuate that the image does not depict a well regulated militia.

    What would you like to see different in a militia?

    The militia are the people. All the people are not disciplined or regulated. Some are, some are not. The not's are giving guns in America a bad name, that's the problem. The criminals couldn't give a stuff about the 2A and avoid being disciplined and regulated.

    No, the militia is not "the people". The militia is the organized militia (National Guard) and unorganized militia ( all males age 17-45). That's it.
    Felons wouldn't show up for a muster, anyway. Nor would most liberals.

    The Statutory militia is available by Statute. The People are the Militia for the common defense under the common law.

    I have been known to. Ime, militias would like nothing more than for more women to take an interest in it. And some do, but not many.

    Its like sewer work, in that regard. Ive been working in the sewer for 10 years, and I've probably worked with/around 100 different city's wastewater crews in that time. Theres plenty of woman engineers, drivers and traffic controllers who work with the sewer guys ... but I've yet to actually see, meet or even hear about even one woman that works down in the sewer. Im sure theres gotta be a few somewhere, but they are quite scarce.

    Theres absolutely nothing stopping women from participating except their own general lack of interest in it, whether its sewer work or civil defense.

    Do you have any other regulations that you would like to apply to The Militia? Note: according to how US Code defines The Militia, its pretty likely that you are a part of it.
