Gabe Suarez was also a convicted fraud, money laundering, and grand theft related to his leaving the Santa Monica Police Department. We can also note that Gabriel Suarez is still a fraud by the example he uses in his story where he states, According to law enforcement organizations, opposed to encountering a jihadist the fictional character in Gabriel Suarez's story, a person is far more likely to encounter a gun-toting radical right wing white supremacist like Dylann Roof that murdered nine black people at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, or someone like Jeremy Joseph Christiann that murdered two men that intervened to protect a young teenage Muslim girl from his vicious attack in Portland Oregon. http://www.newsweek.com/2016/02/12/...ger-threat-america-isis-jihadists-422743.html It's people like the gun-toting radical right-wing extremist Gabriel Suarez that openly expresses his anti-Muslim prejudice in his example that Americans need to fear most. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dylann_Roof#Charleston_church_shooting http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-muslims-portland-idUSKBN18N080
http://blog.suarezinternational.com/2015/05/the-story-of-the-notorious-gabe-suarez.html The truth of Suarez's story. He was targeted, persecuted, and forced to plead to specific charges to get the campaign against him stopped before it bankrupted him and his family. That's the truth; but those who oppose him wanted to see him discredited, and those timid souls horrified by his beliefs continue to try and dismiss him and marginalize him. The man's subsequent success is testament to his character. Well, there's no denying Gabe is unapologetically out there on the far Right of the Right wing. He has views I don't agree with in some areas, but I like the man personally and find him one of the best instructors I've ever worked with. You accuse him of "anti-Muslim prejudice" but such is not the case. He simply recognizes the risk that extremist Islam presents and is unapologetic about standing up to it. That his tactical doctrine is so successful in real-world combat that he is called upon to travel all round the world teaching everyone from private security to Special Operations teams his methodology is likewise testament to the validity of said doctrine.
The fact remains that honest Americans are most likely to encounter a violent attack perpetrated by someone who doesn't have a political agenda. But jihadist terrorism has killed far more Americans over the last 25 years than the radical racists on the far right wing
Actually, it's incompetent medical staff, distracted and intoxicated drivers, and those involved in gangs/drug trafficking that Americans need to fear most.
Funny, the primary reference of "soul murder" is talking about child abuse. You don't get to make up your own definitions. http://www.nytimes.com/books/first/s/shengold-soul.html
Please, langue isn't restricted to initial references. Can you imagine how boring our literature, conversations, poetry, etc. ad infinitum, would be if it was? edited to add: I just realized what a perfect example Rucker61's post is of how restricting the right's political conversation has become.
To a certain degree, I would agree with you. However, when one chooses to twist language to feed an agenda or to push one then it becomes dangerous. You see that with the gun controllers and the way they try to manufacture terms to demonize guns and their owners.
True. Your definition of "racism" hasn't shown up in 10 pages of google searches. If you want to create a new meaning for a word or phrase, please note that in your posts.
Read the Sussex Vampire before telling me to return to Earth / Terra, Much like Sherlock Holmes, I am already here, you, not so much.....
Gabriel Suarez was using an example of terrorism but instead of addressing the greatest threat of terrorism (extremist right-wing ideologies) he resorted to an appeal to prejudice against Muslims and right-wing religious intolerance in the United States. Yes, we have far more to fear from other life threatening dangers than we have to fear from terrorists. I'd also note that Gabriel Suarez has a distorted idea of what it means to be a warrior. The warrior does not need to be armed because the warrior is always prepared to deal with any situation, with any threat, without weapons. The life of the warrior is all encompassing and is not merely about self-defense. Suarez substitutes a "firearm" in place of advocacy for the life of a warrior as if the firearm magically makes a person a warrior. It doesn't and honestly Suarez is not a warrior and doesn't know WTF he's talking about. Suarez is a wimp that substitutes a firearm for the life of a warrior. Suarez is a fraud, pure and simple.
