Manufacturing guns and other powerful military weapons have been rather simple DIY projects for decades now.
There are youtube videos showing the step by step home manufacturing process with tools and materials available at any hardware store or Ebay.

Yes, a while back I pasted up a Youtube video of a guy making a Sten from scratch in his garage. The plans are all over the internet.

 

Yep, just ask the idiots who went to the ER to get the bits of a extendable car antenna out of their face and eyes when they used their zip guns for the first time.

 

They are even manufacturing mortars and rocket launchers in South and Central America now. Probably easier than making a Sten.

 

And guys in Afghanistan living in tents with camels parked out back are literally building AK-47's with simple hand tools.

 

Much easier and one can buy the hardware needed at ACE and the propellants and explosives needed, legally online.

 

They had 10 year olds cranking out AKs, among other things, in shops in Darra.

 

Stens, particularly early designs, are of simple design, requiring very few machined parts and were produced in large quantities not only for the Brit Army, but provided (dropped) in quantity to resistance groups throughout Europe in WWII and the plans for making them were distributed in even larger quantities, often as air dropped leaflets (where my plans I acquired in the late 60’s likely originated).

Ban guns and that literally will become the next form of weaponry nut jobs will adapt to and the body count once deployed will be much more higher.

I was certainly surprised at how easy it really is to find plans and videos when I researched this issue.

 

This place thrives on differences of opinion. Over time most of us will eventually learn when the facts are clearly revealed.

 

There's not a lot to prevent someone from driving a gasoline truck into a school or mall.

 

The weapons available at the local gun shops are very punk compared to what a DIY enthusiast can concoct on a garage workbench. IMO, gun ban schemes are all dangerous.

 

I believe the cost of those WW II Stens was under $10.

 

But weaponizing it would be a challenge, those tanks, by DOT rules are very strong and gasoline lacking an oxidizer doesn't explode unless vaporized just right.

 

You don't want it to explode, you want it to gush out of the tank and burn.

 

Nah man the hardware store sells ready to go sten, suomi etc receivers. Is it a submachine gun? You can buy it at the hardware store if you've got some basic hand tools.
