I got the ballot yesterday. I normally vote. But again, in CA, to vote for a republican is hopeless. This ship sailed years ago. I promised to never vote for a Democrat since I was a sorry person that supported them until 1980 after living to a then 42 yrs of age.

Again this is allowing cultural influences to dictate other peoples lives, and I have to add that correlation does not equal causation. If we judged people less on how they look and more on who they actually are there would be far less discrimination and "slut shaming"
Personal I believe yes they should be the ones to teach sex education, parents can be biased in what they do or do not teach based on their own education and possible religious affiliation. I again believe that sex education should be a federally mandated requirement in ALL schools. Leaving it to parents is in my opinion placing to many children at risk.
I share my office with a Jew woman. And she holds two masters degrees including one in education. She no longer teaches children in school, but I asked her for her opinion on this issue. She told me that she taught up to 12th grade but at her school ,sex education was not part of the agenda. By the way, My first daughter was born when i was 27 so I apparently understood how girls get pregnant.
