OK, I give up, how do Ben and Jerry's ice cream names liberal?

Please list examples.

The two flavors that come to mind when thinking of their ice cream are Cherry Garcia and Chunky Monkey. I know no other names. These obviously are not liberal entities.

Silly me, what ever got me to think that Save our Swirled put out for earth day or "I dough I dough" that they put out to celebrate the SCOTUS decision on gay marriage were liberal names of ice cream. Or perhaps Home Sweet Honeycomb which was put out to celebrate legislation that would resettle refugees safely into Europe.

Or even Empower Mint which was launched on the anniversary of the day the Supreme Court issued its landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education ruling.

Finally, if you had bothered to read the thread you would find that I am not outraged nor enamored, I was using the company as an example of one that uses its political views to its advantage in its marketing because it was stated in the thread that it is bad business to do so.

Finally, I will happily admit I find it a good marketing strategy and it is my own personal opinion why they are a national brand, it is what stood them out from the other 1000 regional ice cream brands out there.

I've enjoyed cutting NBA, NFL, and MLB out of my life. I have spent more time with my family than ever before. My wife quit watching the award shows. We also have become diligent on not supporting Woke Businesses and buying "Made in America" products whenever possible. It often takes research on some items.

Let the Leftists continue with dividing us. In the end we will be stronger as we will not be dependent on their MSM, Big Tech, or Leftist Government. They will be those sheep to the slaughter.

 

You beautifully summed up the message from the OP in that we patriotic Americans on the right will have to learn to live without giving into the Left's media and high tech conglomerate takeover of the airwaves and of our sports et al. Sure hope we'll be able to at least put a stop to this radical leftist madness come 2020 in the midterm elections when Republicans will not only take over the majority in the House, but will quickly install some sanity in our congress by bringing back our American ideals.

 

Americans in general don't agree with you. Having a right means being able to exercise that without danger. The citizens of this nation are arming themselves at an unprecedented rate- including a large percentage of people buying guns for the first time. Used guns are often selling for more than the new list price, and a many guns are just not available, back-ordered with a year's waiting time, One manufacturer of ammunition, Vista Outdoors- has over a $Billion in back orders for ammunition. The rates of normal crimes have increased dramatically, but we are also seeing many crazy crimes that indicate dysfunctional mindsets and general rage against anybody- and you can thank the liberals for creating that, making some people think that mindless violence is also a right. Some people obviously do.

I have been watching more than ever. The nest is empty and my wife works 7 12 hour shifts in 9 days and then has 5 off. During those 7 it is just me for all but the hour between when she gets home and goes to bed. Though it is annoying that my Cardinals are not available due to contract disputes with the streaming services and FoxSports Midwest.

I could not care less if a business is woke or not, that does not come into my choices even a tiny little percent. I also personally do not care about where something is made, just the quality and the price. Why should I pay more for a lesser product just because it was made here?

I agree that taken to the extremes it does these things, which is why I often argue with libertarians who get pissed when I call myself one yet do not think all taxes are of the devil. Out of college I was a rightwing Repub, then I developed compassion and moved on. Besides, today's Repubs are all big government loving morons.

Not sure how you figured out how much ice cream I eat, but I have been a runner since 1975, all those miles keep the arteries clean as a whistle. I have had doctors double check my cholesterol as they did not really believe it was a low as the test said because I eat pretty much anything I like. I am in my mid-50s with a resting HR lower than my age.

Only a few years (possibly months at this point if everything goes to plan) until I can afford a house that I can turn into my own personal paradise. I plan on planting trees all over the property so I don't have to look out and no one can look in. I will live the way I see fit, not the way someone else tells me. I will shoot my guns, work on my old cars and tractors that use internal combustion engines, and do whatever else I want to. Probably won't venture out unless I have a good reason which is perfectly fine. To hell with other people and their problems, I figured my stuff out, it's up to them to figure their problems out.
