For me....as long as at the very least a concept of sound logic or even a Theoretical Mathematical Formula that could shed some light upon Quantum Mechanics ans specifically Multiversal Reality.....would be enough for me to have FAITH.

You see....IF there exists a GOD....and that is a BIG IF.....there is an EXTREMELY HIGH PROBABILITY that is very close in percentage to almost be labeled as PROOF.....that what would or could be labeled a GOD given Humanities EXTREMELY LIMITED AND STILL DEVELOPING AND EVOLVING MIND.....will not be a GOD in any manner assumed and preached to be existing in any form taught by all existing ancient Human Religious Texts.

I could explain this Mathematically to you if you have an understanding of Higher Math or perhaps I could explain it to you from a Particle Physics/Quantum Mechanics/Unified Field Theory/Multiversal Quark within Hadrons numerical interchange and exchange at and between minimum and maximum numerical existence.

I would really enjoy anyone I could talk to about such things.

To me it seems that what some people "have" is the ability to think they have successfully decided to believe something.

Now me, I cant just "decide" or "choose" to believe, or not believe. The sun is there; I can choose to believe its not there, and fool myself. I cant talk myself into believing that I am Ms Hong Kong.

I need to have a basis for belief or disbelief.

How is it that anyone can do otherwise? Can you explain it? Do you feel it is in any way wise or admirable, or more likely to get one to "truth" than my approach, of needing some sort of evidentiary basis for belief?

Wisdom and truth is subjective... and I have no desire to be admired for my beliefs so what others think about my theological views is inconsequential. I am not in the business of proving God to anybody as its an exercise in futility to try to prove the existence of a theological intangible... I leave that battle to those in organized religion. As for evidence when applied to theology... its highly subjective.

The Earth has Liquid Water in great oceans.....and Mars also at one time also had large oceans of liquid water....now why is it that Earth still has huge oceans of liquid water and Mars does not anymore?

Clue....it has to do with a specific Celestial Event that happened Billions of Years ago that gave Earth the edge.

Ahhhh....I guess my FAITH in Humanity is just that.....faith.....an attempt to believe in something without proof that does not exist.

But what is REALLY SAD in yguy's posted reply back to me is that he is not aware and is completely CLUELESS to understand I really was trying to REACH OUT TO HIM....and was giving him a chance to possibly show me and the membership he might actually have something worth while TO CONTRIBUTE....and perhaps I thought he might know something about the very easy 5th grade level being taught in Elementary Schools in Advanced Science Classes for 9 to 10 year old kids why BOILING WATER is not a chemical reaction so when water boils it is still H20.....just in a vapor.

But when a CHEMICAL REACTION takes place such as running an electrical charge through water or allowing SUNLIGHT's UV-RADIATION to pass into a Glass of water.....the Chemical Reaction caused by either the Electrical Current or by UV-Radiation SPLITS H20 into Hydrogen Gas and Oxygen Gas.

Billions of years ago a Mars sized Planet impacted the Earth and since the Earth's crust as well as this Mars sized planets crust was just several hundred miles thick and under that was the two celestial bodies Mantels of Molten Rock and even deeper in both Planets has a Inner and Outer spinning Liquid Metallic Core which is what creates Earth's protective Electromagnetic Field....as without this EM-Field....Life as well as Water could not be protected from Solar Radiation as well as Cosmic Rays.

Now Mars at one time had a LUSH WATER COVERED SURFACE of lakes, ponds and oceans and because Mar's is only 10% the mass of Earth it's spinning inner and outer interior core cooled much faster and when molten and liquid metal cools down it stops spinning and thus Mars lost it's EM-Protective Field.

When Mars lost it's EM-Field all Liquid Oceans and Lakes and Ponds were effected by the no longer blocked Solar and Cosmic Radiation which over a long period of time killed off any plant or animal or microbial surface life existing but as well caused a CHEMICAL REACTION that split liquid water into Hydrogen and Oxygen Gasses which over time without any moisture or plant life to keep converting CO2 into Oxygen.....most of the Martial atmosphere was lost to space.

Earth had an edge though....not only was the Earth larger but it then was impacted by a Mars sizes planet and the two bodies smashed into each other and coalesced into a larger Planet Earth than Earth was before this collision as well the massive amount of ejected material from the impact became our MOON.

Because of this impact the Earth's interior core SUPER HEATED and because of this Earth's Magnetic Field will last much longer than if Earth had never been impacted as well as Earth's protective EM-Field is simply at the very deep interior there exists two liquid metallic cores....the Inner and Outer LM-Spinning Cores and this works the same way an Electric Motor does in effect as if anyone looks at their Hair Dryer they will see an inner spinning wheel with around it a round copper wire wrapped outer core.

When the inner wheel spins it creates an Electromagnetic Field that is generated around that copper surrounding line.

The Earth's Magnet Field can be seen repelling Solar Radiation at the Poles and this is called the Aurora Borealis.

I knew and was taught at a Planetarium that my entire 4th grade elementary class went to as they taught us about the Aurora Borealis and what it was.....why it existed.....and why LIFE ON EARTH DEPENDS UPON IT.

Kids today like the Daughter of one of my Team Members as she is 12 I believe and likes to talk to me about Astronomy and Physics as she want's to go into Space and run a TELESCOPE ON THE MOON.....well she knows WHY MARS HAS NO LIQUID WATER IN OCEAN QUANTITIES AS WELL AS WHY AND HOW THE EARTH STILL DOES AND WHY AND HOW A MARS SIZED PLANET COLLIDED WITH EARTH.

But yguy does not know.....but that unto itself is OK....there are many things I do not know and there are many things many of us do not know.

the problem is ... if you apply the same 'reasoning' to absolutely anything else (i.e., giant spiders, leprechauns, tinfoil hat wearing alien abductees, etc etc), it IS a delusion.

 

You know....I am an Agnostic and I FAITHFULLY follow the Scientific Method....as would any True Agnostic worth their SALT.

I have seen a few things in the PHYSICAL WORLD where I could use my senses to view a few certain things that I thought might exist but until I actually experienced these things for myself....it was not until then I KNEW such things existed.

Now as far as the Metaphysical....I have NEVER had any experiences or any sensory input that would give me any FAITH in a GOD as such a GOD has been explained to be in all the various religions.....but I DID experience in a very real way SOMETHING that was a REAL AND TANGIBLE sensory experience specific to the Metaphysical.

Because of this I keep myself VERY OPEN to the concept of Human Consciousness being able to exist after the death of the body....and being the EXTREME SKEPTIC I am....this was not easy to come to terms with.

Given the facts of this that I cannot deny.....I believe there is a much larger system in play than just what we perceive.....but just because I know this to exist does not mean I believe in a bunch of Stone Age Stories that are akin to stories of Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.

Does anyone here know why it is called EASTER?

And does anyone know why Bunnies and Chicks and Eggs and Green Grass and Baskets are involved with Easter?

I will give some here a hint....it is not EASTER but rather the Spring Solstice Fertility Holiday of the Goddess ESTER!!!!
