    seen what, that schools have to follow the governments dietary guidelines to get federal funding

    or you have never seen the food pyramid?

    you know why pasta and ketchup are considered vegetables servings... to meet these requirements

    No but others do because they emulate him. We all look at our president and use him for a role model and Trump eating Big Macs causes heart disease in innocent unsuspecting Americans. Impeachment is called for.

    A huge factor in many major illnesses is stress. When people freak out about things they can't control, stay mentally off-track and immersed in obsessive hate because their expectations haven't been fulfilled- they severely impact their own health, and it is their own fault. Just as it is your decision, not Trumps example, that gives you a Big Mac gut.

    But gee, that would be accepting responsibility for yourself, wouldn't it? Crap! Let's not and say we did, then blame someone else..... :)

    I have seen the food pyramid, but not that one. Any I have seen showed veggies and proteins at the top, not grains.

    you mean don't be a child that has to eat school lunch, don't live in a retirement home, go to a hospital for a prolonged stay, join the military, anything that has to go by the governments dietary recommendations or lose funding

    None of which requires processed food with the exception of MRE. Cook your own meals and eat what you want. You are free to ignore the government food pyramid.

    While I do very much agree with what you say about obesity. However, the government shouldn't be telling people what size soda pop they should drink, or they can't eat this or that. People should care enough about their own health to make good decisions, if one's health matters to them they will, if not, well then one knows the risks and is wilfully digging their own grave.

    I blame most obese people for their obesity! I exclude those on certain medications, and other rare metabolic disorders but overall people make the decision to be morbidly obese.

    It's not that difficult, eat healthy most of the time, and get off your a$$ and exercise! No, I don't blame Nixon or anyone but the individual.
