wrong! I still think people should vote no matter how rigged the system is. You can’t prove rigging if there are no votes to cheat. Very damaging info uncovered in AZ.
As for trump, I accept the steal and at this point am more concerned about the integrity of future elections
I think having a paper president like biden right now is much needed to show how catastrophic the results can be when an election is cheated.
Just remember, cheating can happen on BOTH sides and many GOP politicians are almost as dirty and shady as the ones on the left.

That is ultimately what it comes down to. Does Trump truly believe there was election fraud or is it an act to raise money and an excuse to avoid admitting he lost? I have wavered from both viewpoints. From a personal view I have not met anyone that truly believes that mass election fraud altered the outcome of the election even though I know many people that supported Trump. From the news and internet I believe they really exist and there are some people who absolutely believe fraud took place and Trump was robbed of the presidency. I think it would be interesting to sit down and have a beer with someone like this and try to really understand their world view. I often wonder if people on this forum who claim voter fraud truly believe it or if their comments are simply to troll the left or is an outlet to express anger at the election result they do not like. It is a lot like the way people claimed polls are not meaningful, main stream news is fake, covid would go away after the election and inflation is a bad thing. All of a sudden everyone is posting polls on Biden's declining numbers, citing main stream news sources on Afghanistan, blaming the covid crisis on Biden and ignoring the fact that MAGA policies are totally inflationary.

My original point is simple. If I believed election fraud took place at numbers that could alter the election I would not vote until the scheme was exposed and people that perpetrated it is jailed. I have better things to do with my time. Just as if I 100% believed someone was cheating at a poker game I would not sit down and play with them.

I don’t actually care what “MAGAs” do. I don’t even want him to run again. The steal is real but I’m ready to move forward. Why vote when it’s rigged? That’s a good question. My answer is that it’s still important to vote. We shouldn’t let one cheated election ruin the rest of them and there will be far more scrutiny in future elections
Trumps recent comments are lame . How the hell is not voting going to help them? One of the reasons I don’t want him to run again is because when he says stupid things like this recent statement.
Why are you so hell bent on defending the steal? YOU aren’t the one that did it. There is no crime in enjoying the fruits of the steal just like it’s not a crime to enjoy the fruits of what happened to native Americans. We weren’t the ones that did anything wrong so why feel bad about it?

 

First : Trump can"believe" whatever he wants. If folks want to bu y into HIS beliefs and act on them..........that is their choice. If they think that this is best for the country ........so be it.

Second" If the republicans refuse to vote in an election en mass............then they have to take who ever is elected and have no say in it. And thus should not complain about who is elected.

 

The thinking or reasoning may be flawed but the truth of the matter is if you truly believed the election was stolen through fraud then there is no reason to vote again unless the situation has changed. Proof is not necessary to form a belief.

 

I understand. This is the exact reason that he is so dangerous. He can say *anything* and people will stand behind him without asking question, analyzing what he's said or even considering the idea that he might have ulterior motives. In one and a half years, he has successfully damaged relationships on over level. He has undermined our election process. He has destroyed our trust in honest and fair elections. He has pitted us against one another every change he gets. He's pure evil and this is only about his ego.

And, it should be clear to everyone. The information is public. Trump has NO qualms about having his lawyers shoot off letters or file lawsuits against anybody. He has used the court system to bully his contractors for services rendered but not paid for, to cheat people with fake charities and schools, there is an investigation into his Inauguration funds right now.

So, ask yourself...if he has the money (he's always bragging how rich he is and supporters are still sending him millions every MONTH), has attorneys on retainer constantly and is a mainstay in American courthouses, why hasn't he filed a lawsuit about election fraud? The answer is simple. He knows it's a lie and if he put that lie in a document to the court he would be in big trouble. Powell, Giuliani and others are going to lose their licenses to practice law over this mess. What more proof can there be for the whole world to KNOW that all those judges involved also included some appointed by him. They can't ALL be corrupt. He's the culprit. Always has been. Always will be because leopards don't change their spots.

I would like everyone to reject ;the type of politics Trump employs.

Doesn't every state already have voter ID laws? Set up by each states R and D parties and their election commissions.
