Well, the only president I've voted for twice, was George H.W. Bush. He was calm, a good diplomat, a good administrator, and when we had to go to war, he told us why, he told us the goal, and he told us the exit strategy. He accomplished that.

I agree that everyone in DC right now is an asshat, extraordinaire. Some more than others. Lindsey Graham & Nancy Pelosi are my top two clowns. Biden is near the bottom. Ron Paul was an exception - no corruption, no government overreach.

It's true. We are only beginning to understand all the long term consequences. They currently think 20% will end up with something. My husband's boss got COVID in India, and now, he can't even read an email. He's so easily confused. Very sad for him; very frustrating for the people who report to him. My husband has started conversations with HR about this. That's how bad it is.

 

The problem is that hate takes over people and screws them up until hell freezes over. Like panic; they lose the capacity of logic and reason and can't be brought back with simple facts, and they absolutely can't stand the idea they have been wrong after making such total fools of themselves- so they deny they have and try to justify the ongoing tantrums of hate.

Before Trump did anything, the campaign of mocking and malicious slander was in high gear. Trump didn't make these people into asshats, that was built into them and just looking for an excuse to rant and rage and act as if it were righteous publicly. If Trump can push your button and turn you into a kid throwing a tantrum, kicking and screaming on the floor- either he is a metaphysical superman, or you have no self control at all.

Anyone with a balanced mind would see the whole picture. One example would be the people trying to blame Trump for covid deaths. When he shut down incoming travel from Wuhan China, they called him a bigot.
If he hadn't, they would have called him responsible for it getting here- they will never acknowledge the reality. Right now- we have something happening in the form of a near miracle, and that us the development of vaccines; not in the typical 5 or 10 years, but in less than one year. Why? Because Donald Trump initiated a rapid development process called Operation Warp Speed. The left doesn't want to recognize anything Trump accomplishes, yet in this case the result of Warp Speed will save not hundreds or thousands of lives, but hundreds of thousands of lives that would have been lost with conventional development regulations. Some of them of course will be republicans, so you can rant about that in your argument. The left is never short of excuses to hate. I guess living in that mindset would leave them pissed off at the world everyday- but that IS NOT trump's fault. It's their own.

 

I concur on HW; I once wrote him a letter expressing my appreciation for that. GW bush however is another story. I referred to him as "the shrub", hardly something cut from the same timber.....

And THAT is the scary part. We have these Trump supporters wanting to get their conspiracy fix, and now that Fox News has fallen from the Don's graces, they will be quoting OAN and Newsmaxipad till they are blue in the face.

 

You ignore the tantrums and dispicable actions of Trump and accuse those who are not Trump fans of hate. So let me translate your accusations against those of us who are not Trump supporters. "Anyone who does not support Trump and does not believe all of his lies is a hater". He did not shut down all travel from China! You misrepresented the facts. Trump did not " shut down" travel from China or any part of it. What Trump did was to restrict travel in for Chinese. He letAmericansand their families come in. The virus does not know or care if a person is a Chinese cititizen or an American citizen so the virus still came and it was traced to non restricted people coming into the US fromChia.

Trump made up the Operation Warp Speed phrase as another of his BS marketing terms. Fancying had said early rhis year that a vaccine is possible out of initial development around the end of this year. Wellitis aout the end of this year you cannot deny that. Trump had nothing, zero, nada to do with the development of the vaccines. He may have cut a couple months off by letting the companies cut some corners we do not know. Trump does trust science so do not give him credit for something he did not do. Trump takes credit for the works of others enough as it is do not ,enable Trump and his lies.

Miracle ? Miracle my ass. Do not insult the intelligence of those of us who are not Trump supporters. Trump did not create any miricless. Trump claimed that this Virus wiould go away like a miracle. First it was the miricle of Easter Sunday. The miricle of the a Summer Solstice. .

Trump not only did not save any lives he most likely murdered thousands of Aericans. How? Why?

Trump hid the fact that this Virus was dangerous and callled it Fake News. He admitted that he withheld the fact that the virus was dangerous coming here claiming that he did not want to "panic" people. His denial cause people to die.

Trump completely screwed up our response to the virus by refusing to Marshall the power of the federal government to get protective equipment and he cause the state's to have to fight and compete for equipment therefore causing the prices to rise.

Trump refused to use his bully pulpit to urge( not command) people to seat masks and social distance. If he did that we could have saved thousands of lives and not have had to close down or restrict businesses.
If Trump did the right thing he would not have hurt our economy and he would not have hurt business and he would not have murdered so many people- Americans.

Trump failed to lead, failed to respond to this Virus. He pitted state vs state. He attacked Blue states and blue state governors. The virus does not care if it kills or sickens blue state people or red state people.

You talk about hatred look at Trump. Denying that the virus is dangerous is an act of hatred. Lying that it will go away is hatred. It is hatred of us, yes of us Americans.

You are crying that your Boy was mocked and you falsely accuse and there was malicious slander. Yes there was and it was done by Trump. Trump mocked a disabled guy during the first campaign. You remember that? Of course you do but you either will deny it or you give him a pass because you agree with his antics and tactics.

Malicious! Of yes malicious! Malicious is Schiesting on MCCain for serving our country. MCCain served his country and the guy who did the Schiesting never served our country even one micro second. Trump called those of us who served our country "suckers". That is hatred by Trump.

You call people who are not blind Trump fans "asshats".
You want to see "asshats" view Trump rallies as his fans mock those who wear masks. View the "asshats" at WH ceremonies where his fans spread the virus because as "asshats" they refused to social distance or wear masks. Why because they believe and follow as "asshat" just like asshats followed and believed Jim Jones, Karesh and the guy who convinced asshats that a UFO will take they to heaven if they poison themselves.

You must notice that I do not say bad thing about or criticize Republicans, Democrats, the right, the left or Americans as a group. No I do not do any of that. I criticize those who do evil and or wrong things to Americans regardless of if the wrong doer is Republican, Democrat, left, right, the Trump Party, or Libertarian,.......

Before you go on and accuse other people of hatred remember a Bible passage of "he who is without sin ....... can throw the first stone". Asically you are quick to make accusations but have you looked behind yourself.

You're doing what has been going on since day one, since Trump announced running, before he held office or did anything- and then doubled down when he beat the world's most unscrupulous candidate.

The first thousand stones, since you like the adage, came directly from the democrats and the MSM press, and that's never stopped. . These were personal attacks, character assassinations, mockery, insults and generally the kind of behavior you would expect from small spoiled brats or street thugs. That hasn't changed, and the only people who didn't see it were the people doing it and rationalizing it. The bar of self respect has not just been thrown in the gutter by the left, but buried in a bottomless pit so it's completely meaningless. I'd like to be proud of America's citizens, but the number I'm ashamed of today is huge.

And of course, they think they have credibility????? Like a pig in lipstick and high heels.

 

This has nothing to do with the left or the right. The media gave him oxygen right from the second he came down the escalator. Morning Joe had him on almost daily. Trump started to bitch about the media when he started being treated like any candidate was. He did not want honest questions asked of him. Why do you think he loved Fox after a while? They tossed soft ball questions at him. He loved that. He still loves it.
But do you see what happened now with Fox since they decided to call Arizona for Biden! They did not lie to him or for him about the election. He had a meltdown and now likes NewsMax and AOne or something like that. You see the only media that Trump likes is that media that tells him the lies he wants to here. You notice that he still like Shaun Vanity and Carlson because they tell him what he wants to hear. They are telling him that he did not lose that Biden is not president elect. Talk about a lying media ! Newsmax is not admitting that Biden is president elect.

Trump is begging his type of media to "tell me lies, tell me lies tell me sweet little lies, tell me I won".

 

Well stated. Granted, this same theme has been repeated ad nauseum for the past 5 years on here, so it's highly unlikely that any Trump fan will switch or recant from their approved Trumpian talking-points, but I salute you for keeping up the good fight.
