    Nope.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), who is not a member of the three House committees handling the impeachment inquiry into Trump, said that he was asked to leave deposition of Fiona Hill, a former presidential aide on European and Russian affairs, by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

The House parliamentarian later ruled Gaetz had to leave, he added. "I went into the committee room and Mr. Schiff told me I had to leave," the Florida Republican told reporters in the Capitol after leaving the secure room where Hill was being deposed. "And we waited for a ruling from the parliamentarian. And at that time, I had to depart."

He isn't on one of the committees handling the depositions. Otherwise, the House parliamentarian would not have asked him to leave.

"While the House Judiciary Committee had led the charge in the Democrats' investigation of Russian election interference, three different committees — Intelligence, Oversight and Foreign Affairs — have taken the baton since the focus has shifted to questions surrounding Trump's dealings with Ukraine."

You were the one that named the House judiciary.....moreover the House Rules say any impeachment inquiry must got through them, for Arts of Impeachment to be drawn up, voted on and sent to the House.

I wrote......"I think those committees are Judiciary, Intel, and Oversight." Yes, the Judiciary Committee draws up the articles. So what? Gaetz tried to attend a hearing he wasn't allowed to attend, that he knew he wasn't allowed to attend........as a cheap stunt. His forte.

Yes, Shifty wouldn’t let him attend, he did it in secret behind closed doors...why? Because he likes parody and not facts

So that the WH wouldn't know what the witnesses were saying. And possibly because some of the nature of what was being discussed was sensitive or classified info.
In any event, Repubs on the appropriate committees were there. So what's up with the innuendo that something nefarious was going on? Oh......wait.........never mind..........it's what Trumpers do.

Well the WH has clearance to her classified information.

The bottomline however...is the American people have a right to know....when the GOP had the majority, during the Mueller Probe, they had both open and seperate closed hearings....closed for classified material, and open for the American people to see what was going on. Given Shifty's history of "parody" - he simply can't be trusted with the truth...so what we got is a shame

Trump's desperate attempts to hide the truth somewhere under his promised tax returns are failing.

Patriotic, career public servants are wreaking havoc with Fake Don's obstructionist tactics. His scheme to contrive an alternative shady, shadow state department to serve his political agenda instead of the national interests is being exposed.

It is going to be quite an undertaking for the next prez to rebuild all areas of government now that so many "patriotic, career public servants" have either been removed or have resigned............only to be replaced by unqualified hacks, sycophants, and Trump loyalists. The professional, non-partisan career employees of government have been gutted.

Pompeo adviser to decry politicization of State Dept. in impeachment probe testimony
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...3eec04-ffa5-4189-9845-dc8ad3be190b_story.html

Michael McKinley, the former senior adviser to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo until his sudden resignation last week, will tell House impeachment investigators Wednesday that career diplomats were mistreated during his tenure and some had their careers derailed for political reasons, according to a person familiar with his testimony.

McKinley will outline how his concerns culminated with the recall of the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, a punitive action he and many other rank-and-file diplomats viewed as wholly unjustified.

The House portion of the inquiry is equivalent to a Grand Jury.

If you haven’t noticed the R’s arguments are all process. They won’t dare touch substance.

Gaetz. no surprise, is operating in bad faith and you can add most of the R’s in the House to that list. Dishonorable men just like the President they support. Deal with substance dudes!

Gaetz is among the most disgraceful of the hacks in the GOP caucus along with Jordan, Gohmert, and Meadows.
